“From the moment you enter, you know this place is going to be special. They squeezed me in without a reservation which I greatly appreciated! The atmosphere is electric. Its light blues, greens and browns all come together beautifully with the copper table tops. It’s absolutely beautiful. The service was absolutely top notch. Liz, never missed a beat. And trust me, I beat that drum! Flawless appetizer bread with the best butter I’ve ever tasted. From there, I never wanted for anything and the salmon I ordered came out expeditiously. And cooked to perfection! Tender, flakey, juicy. The mashed potatoes and the Brussels sprouts were perfectly roasted and caramelized. The bourbon glaze on the salmon wasn’t for me (I ordered it on the side) and Liz jumped into action again bringing me a different sauce with a lemon twist. It was perfection!! I couldn’t recommend Treat more! It was far more than a treat, it was an experience and an amazing one!”

“We stopped here for the night. The hotel was clean and well kept. The staff were very courteous and professional. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was good. It's got plenty of parking, a nice pool area and gym too. Directly across the street is Fonta Flora Brewing, great place to have a pint and relax after a long drive. We will stay here again.”

“OMG! The absolute best wings in many different flavors. They are so big I sometimes think they could be chicken legs. LOL. Never greasy and flavored to perfection with Caribbean spices, or any of the standard sauces.”

“My favorite take out restaurant! We have been regulars here for a few years now. Best Greek salad and most authentic tasting pizza in town! 5 stars!! Food is always made as ordered. Such a sweet staff. They always make sure customers are satisfied! Best ravioli as well!! Totally recommend the Ranch dressing too. The pizza was so good we couldn’t wait to get a picture of the whole pie!”

“You know it’s a special place when first of all the food is great, my son loves it and second they go above to create an atmosphere to ensure that their customers get #1 service. I am out of state right now and knew that my son was eating there with my grandson for his 32nd birthday; just the 2 of them; so while on the phone with him eating I was able to call on another line and explain that my son was presently there eating with my grandson. The caller asked if he had a beard lol I was certain he had the right table. I went on to explain that it was his 32nd birthday and I could almost hear the excitement in his voice when he said, “ yea yea no problem at all, we got this.” They celebrated with my son and grandson. These guys have no idea how much they made his day after having such a challenging day it ended with a sombrero hat, cool whip, and a song lol Thank you so much guys!”

“When in Rome….i love eating at the local places when visiting surrounding towns. Was in the mood for sauerkraut and mustard on a hot dog and they did not disappoint. Bun was toasted on both sides and fit the hot dog perfectly. Also had fried green beans as an appetizer. They were perfectly crispy on the outside and firm on the inside. This is a rare find for appetizers.The bar seemed to have a good selection of brews and specials were reasonably priced. Definitely going to visit again when in Morganton.”

“Great local bottle shop. They have outdoor seating, great service, and excellent prices. There's a really cool shuffleboard and various areas to sit and talk or watch the game. Check them out sometime and see what's free on the menu for Sunday. I went and they had free chili! I'll be back.”

“What a nice surprise it was to stumble upon this authentic Guatemalan restaurant in Morganton! We dashed in for a quick lunch on a weekday. It was hopping with folks enjoying lunch. We saw a lot of people eating thr soup - served in deep ramen type bowls. Next time we will order soup. It looked tasty! As it was we ordered our favorites - I got three types of Tacos Al Pastor with fresh onions and cilantro. They will grill the onions if you prefer. I prefer raw. I ordered pork, beef and chicken. All tasty! Husband ate the tamale and some of my tacos. Chips were warm and crispy. You fetch your own salsa at a salsa bar - very fresh - the green sauce is extra picante (spicy)! Btw the service was fast and friendly, despite the crowd! There is also a store and deli/butcher shop on the other side of the restaurant. We will be back! Just go - !”

We have been here several times and each time has been a good experience.i have had the asada tacos,steak burrito,and the nachos. While others in our party have had the quesadillas and taco salad. “I come here all the time! Delicious flavors of yogurt, amazing array of toppings, the new owner is very nice also. Staff is always so sweet to me when I come in, they are always in good moods which is very nice. Highly recommend this establishment!! If you want the best choice of toppings come earlier in the day. Because at the end of the day, toppings become slimmed down and sometimes some of the yogurt machines empty by then, but, after working at a few yogurt shops myself, I can say, this is normal and I totally understand!”

Dallas the one who puts on the shows always seems to be around kids, from drag shows to carowinds. There is even a member of this town who has been abused by one of "actors" after their parents took them in.”
