My partner and I have recently move to Hillsboro to enjoy our retirement. This was slightly before the restaurant started. We were so happy to see another restaurant opening in the area and looking forward to enjoying good quality food and service. At the beginning when they first open was a bit difficult for them. For the most part food and service was fair at best. We still decided to support the restaurant. I was also a new member of the golf club which I enjoyed. To make it short, we experienced a ton of changes the first year in business, though we still supported the restaurant and continued to frequently visit. I experienced poor management tactics and rudeness with upper management. This turn me off. I know longer a frequent consumer but do still go off and on in hopes to see some changes that would change our minds of service and quality. No Real Changes yet to be seen. I will continue to be part of the golf and in hopes the restaurant will change to the better.

I was really looking forward to sharing a great meal with my friend but I have to say that I was very disappointed in the food there. I went there in the first place for the bacon wrapped scallops that was listed on the online menu only to find that they were out of scallops. Okay, well stuff happens. I went for the steak tips with side of mashed potatoes and a side ceaser salad. the steak was very rare, not pink as ordered, and the potatoes were garlic mashed - not plain mashed potatoes. I would have ordered a different side had I known. My friend, who I was treating to a special lunch, ordered the brisket steak sandwich and there was as much fat as there was meat in her sandwich. The highlight of the meal was the Pub Tots appetizer. The service wasn't the best either, especially because there were not many customers in the place when we went. It was $78.00 (including two glasses of wine) which was a little high considering the quality of the food. I liked the atmosphere of the place and will probably give it a second chance but with gaurded expectations.
