“Amazing breakfast! Have yet to have a bad meal here- pancakes, compost heap, benedicts are all great. Servers are attentive and keep the coffee flowing. Best to get there 5 mins before they open because there's always a line within 5 mins after they open. Guess it shows how good it is when you have a wait right after opening, but the wait is worth it“

“This was a five course event dinner for the 5th year anniversary of the opening. It was a very special dinner. The ambience is Americana and modern while being located inside an old bank. Amazing place. This special event was fully attended, and each course designed by a different one of the chefs who work this restaurant. First off let me say the cocktails are incredibly delicious. I actually tried three different ones and they were skillfully prepared and served, and they tasted wonderful. The meal was simply outstanding. There were so many components to each of the five dishes, all beautifully plated (each dish looked like it came out of a food magazine), that created layers of taste and texture. In between course each chef came out and explained their dish, and owner/chef Chris Viaud spoke about each one and how important they are to tue success of the restaurant. All of the staff were wonderful and attentive (our server was Rob and he was awesome, having been with the team since the restaurant opened), but most of the staff are long term employees, and Chris V. Is the biggest reason for that. Clearly he admires all of the staff from front to back of the house, and they know it. Because this was a special event I cannot comment on a regular night in the restaurant, but I am certain that any dinner here will be among your favorite restaurant memories. It was our first time, but certainly not our last. BTW Chris V. Is a James Beard award nominee. Go there for dinner this weekend - you won't be disappointed. No“

“Food was good overall but some dishes had issues. The pot pie was sauce-heavy with not nearly enough vegetables. The biggest mistake was the pork chops. They were underseasoned and undercooked. Pork shouldn't be pink inside. Couldn't eat half of it. Apps were good but calamari doesn't need jalapeños. Waitress and owner were friendly. However, the woman at the front wasn't friendly at all. We'll try it again some time.“

“I had the 2 eggs over medium with toast, home fries, bacon and coffee and my companion had the sausage omelet with wheat bread and the most delicious baked beans we have ever had. The CaFe is small but in nice weather outside seating is available with a lovely view of the babbling brook. Quite a quant place. Complements to the chef and staff for wonderful service!“
