“I took my son here on a Wednesday and they had live music outside. The staff came right over to us and got us started with drinks while we reviewed the menu. We order s few different things and everything was great. While we ate the staff came over to us plenty of times to make sure we did not need anything else. I highly recommend this place for a great meal and service. It is not in my neighborhood, but I will gladly make the drive to go there again. Plus, its next to an ice cream stand!!! For some reason my pictures will not post, but we got fried pickles, mozz sticks (best I ever had), cheese fries, panzerotti, and a cobb salad which was huge!!!“

“Great customer service. Very friendly. Food was great tasting. Many varieties of hoagies from cheese steaks to Italian hoagies. Nextdoor they have a ice cream shop. Dinner and dessert next to each other. We will definitely be back!!?Parking: Small parking lot but they have spaces in the back. I would order ahead because they can get pretty busy.“

“Couldn't come to Jersey/Philly and leave without having a cheesesteak. Based on Yelp reviews, we went out of our way to grab one from Delicozy before catching our flight. Very friendly staff. We ordered ours w/provolone, mushrooms, sweet peppers and ketchup. Bit into the cheesesteak and it was chock full of meat, and very tasty. I'm not a big meat eater, and could barely finish half the hoagie. We definitely recommend their cheesesteaks. I don't know the going rate for cheesesteaks and I thought it was pricey until I saw how much meat they put on it. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pics.“

“The meat cheese ratio was perfect on the Cheesesteak. The fact that this was a half blew my mind!We shared it, it was a lot of food. My co-conspirator did not love the roll, thinking it took away from the great cheesesteak (he had the end which did have a lot). I loved it, I thought the sesame roll was a perfect complement to cheese infused meat. The flavors had me at first bite.Next time we are up that way I will check to see if they have a basic roll for him.“

Joe sat down with me, helped me determine how many portions we would need for the number of people in attendance, and we went through the menu and made the appropriate selections. (For 40 adults and ~15 kids, we ended up getting two cold sandwich trays and ~15 Hot Sandwiches cut down into portions). At the party, the sandwiches were the star of the show. I had a warming oven to keep the hot sandwiches warm, and even after a few hours, the bread did not lose its integrity. We had some leftovers, but not too many, and there was no shortage of folks eager to take some home. 5+ Stars to the Chick's crew for making this process seamless.“

“On the recommendation of a Philly native, I went to a place called Steve’s Prince of Steaks in North Philly. The moment I walked in I was hit with a intoxicating aroma. The setting was fairly unremarkable, with stainless steele walls and painted cement floor, along with a row of barstools and a small counter, perfect for late night and early morning bar closers or the lunch crowd from the Pepsi bottling plant across the street! I sat down to eat my meal that consisted of a traditional Philly cheesesteak with fried onions cheese whiz and steak. The onions were so flavourful and the cheese whiz was almost addictive, I nearly finished it in one bite. I left this place thinking that I now know why they call it prince of steak and winner of a Guinness Book World Records winner. If I had to recommend going anywhere when you stop in Philly, it would be at this place rather than the overhyped tourist spots seen on TV and paid travel reviews. I feel like it embodies the quintessential idea of Philly, It is a true testament to Phillys traditional cuisine and really gives the city it’s nickname, the city of brotherly love and sandwiches!“

I even remember sals before the fire years ago! While I normally order a plain pie or maybe pepperoni now and then, for some reason tonight I ordered the Philly Special with the request of chicken instead of beef. “Was in the area and decided on having a roast beef sandwich. We decided to split one and a side of pizza fries. We ate in the restaurant. It was quiet for a Sunday afternoon. Our sandwich came right out soon after ordering. They were nice enough to cut it in half for us. It came out piping hot. Soooooo good. The shave of the meat was just right. The sharp provolone gives it some extra flavor. The full size was a perfect size to share. Then we got the pizza fries. They were good, but the fries could have been cooked a little longer. They had that rawish potato texture/taste. There was a ton of sauce and cheese along with some chopped up garlic. Bonus was they had Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer in a can. It just hit the spot. Prices are reasonable and staff are very friendly. Great place to grab a sandwich.“
