“This post is long overdue. however; over Easter my aunt in NJ sent me two large kielbasas to Illinois (since she knows how much I miss jersey food in general) but kielbasa was always an Easter staple in our house. For whatever reason Joe's had my wrong shipping address and couldn't get ahold of me bc my voicemail was full. One day I saw a post on their page and I liked it. they responded right away... "Lauren Carr call us!! we have your kielbasa and don't have your correct address." The food got sent back to them. The lady I spoke with was super sweet and said she would send us a brand new package. I highly recommend this business. And, the customer service that comes along with it. Thank you Joe's!!! We are highly satisfied customers. Ps... their pierogies are the BEST TOO!!!!! 💗”

The owners are passionate about their establishment and it comes through in aces with regards to their food, drink and service. I appreciated that.When I saw that the eggs were slightly runny, the young lady gladly took them back and recooked them. The place was filled with some old timers who were cracking jokes and enjoying each other's company as Jose Luis Rodriquez played in the background. One of the workers sat by me and ate his lunch. “This is my favorite taco spot in all of Perth Amboy. The Tacos are always LOADED!! the meat is delicious and rich and the ambiance of the place is a whole vibe! I will say that their horchata is a hit or miss. Some data’s it’s thick and rich. Other days like today, it tastes like straight sweet water. Really puts the agua on agua fresca if you know what I mean. That criticism aside though, the establishment is very clean and it’s a well kept store. The service is awesome, prices are reasonable and they have a lot of stuff to offer. I do highly recommend the steak tacos with everything on it (which is what I got) and the chicken flautas! They are amazing. Also, just to answer any questions; today I was on a walk with my dog. I called and they let me in to pay with my dog. So they are dog friendly in my book, but always call to make sure if you are ever walking by with your pet and want to grab a bite.”

“Big props to Ming Hui Chinese Take Out. It's the best Chinese food restaurant in Perth Amboy. I had a Chinese themed party this past Sunday at a rental hall . They DELIVERED!!! - on ALL LEVELS. Not sure if they've ever done an order this large at one time, but they did an excellent job. They prepared enough food to feed 150+ . I asked to have it delivered at 2:30, they were there at 2pm. Everything I asked them to prepare was on POINT, ON TIME, AN DELICIOUS. I ordered broccoli in brown sauce - made perfectly, pepper steak, boneless spare ribs, chicken lomein, general tso chicken, vegetable-white-pork fried rice. It was so fresh and flavorful. All my guests enjoyed all the food they prepared. Highly recommended . Let's not forget great customer service!”

“Delicious food after a few too many drinks at a bar/disco. Dominican/Cuban/Puerto Rican food. We ordered patacon, dominican chimi and a $30 picadera (you choose what you want your picadera to have: we chose chuleta (pork chops) pollo frito (fried chicken) queso frito (fried cheese) orejita (fried pork ears) and longaniza (dominican sausage, with tostones (fried plantains) and batata frita (japanese sweet potato).
Place was clean, ladies were nice and friendly, and place is open late, which is an ideal option to go after drinks to avoid a hangover.”
