“This post is long overdue. however; over Easter my aunt in NJ sent me two large kielbasas to Illinois (since she knows how much I miss jersey food in general) but kielbasa was always an Easter staple in our house. For whatever reason Joe's had my wrong shipping address and couldn't get ahold of me bc my voicemail was full. One day I saw a post on their page and I liked it. they responded right away... "Lauren Carr call us!! we have your kielbasa and don't have your correct address." The food got sent back to them. The lady I spoke with was super sweet and said she would send us a brand new package. I highly recommend this business. And, the customer service that comes along with it. Thank you Joe's!!! We are highly satisfied customers. Ps... their pierogies are the BEST TOO!!!!! 💗”

“in my opinion this is the best bar in Perth amboy, and I have been to plenty in qmboy. But el patio bar is a 10 great costumer service, beer really cold, the djs are always on point. I’ve been here like 5 times and they are always giving out handmade free food. The food is amazing fresh, the bar is really clean. Overall love it such a vibe, the employees treated me and my group of friends great. And also a good place to go for in the summer because they have bbqs always, and backyard is really big”

“If you are in Perth Amboy try this new Pizza Spot. I ordered a large pizza with extra cheese. It was better than I expected. They also have self served Ice cream and fresh Juice. Such as OJ, mango, pineapple and even Sugar Cane juice which is good for the hot days. The place is not big to dine a lot of people but you can dine in with a friend with comfort. Since the pizza Oven is at the front it can get hot inside. You can order a juice and youll be ok. Enjoy”

“I ordered Beef Satay and Mie Bakso from Sunda Kitchen on GrubHub, and it was absolutely delicious. This meal was actually for my Iftar, and it was exactly what I needed after a long day of fasting.

The Mie Bakso was warm, comforting, and very flavorful. I customized it a little by adding a boiled egg and cutting up the meatballs and tofu into smaller pieces, which made it even easier to enjoy every bite. The broth was rich and soothing, and everything tasted fresh and satisfying.

The beef satay was tender, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly. I also requested extra lime wedges and sambal on the side, and they followed my request perfectly — which I really appreciate when ordering delivery.

To complete the meal, I made Teh Tarik at home, and it paired beautifully with the food.

Overall, the meal was very filling and incredibly satisfying. I truly savored every bite, and honestly, it makes me want to order from Sunda Kitchen again tomorrow!

“The best chimi I’ve had. The meat is exceptionally seasoned, you can taste the oregano and tartness from the lime or vinegar, and it’s perfect on salt. Whoever thought on putting it on a brioche bun, it’s a genius.

Don’t sleep on the picadera too! The pork carne salada is so good and they put wasakaka sauce all over the meat. The tostones are not drowned in oil and are so crispy.

The only shame is that I live 45 minutes away and can’t eat here more often. But whenever I’m in Perth Amboy, I grab a chimi from here.”

The service was good and I didn't have to wait long before receiving my hen they even give you the gizzardsand feet. It costs a little higher than I expected. But for fresh poultry it's worth it. My only realy complaint is parking is terrible. The chickens aren't jammed together and have some space to roam which is good. I will go again.”

“Big props to Ming Hui Chinese Take Out. It's the best Chinese food restaurant in Perth Amboy. I had a Chinese themed party this past Sunday at a rental hall . They DELIVERED!!! - on ALL LEVELS. Not sure if they've ever done an order this large at one time, but they did an excellent job. They prepared enough food to feed 150+ . I asked to have it delivered at 2:30, they were there at 2pm. Everything I asked them to prepare was on POINT, ON TIME, AN DELICIOUS. I ordered broccoli in brown sauce - made perfectly, pepper steak, boneless spare ribs, chicken lomein, general tso chicken, vegetable-white-pork fried rice. It was so fresh and flavorful. All my guests enjoyed all the food they prepared. Highly recommended . Let's not forget great customer service!”

I will say that their horchata is a hit or miss. Some data’s it’s thick and rich. Other days like today, it tastes like straight sweet water. Really puts the agua on agua fresca if you know what I mean. That criticism aside though, the establishment is very clean and it’s a well kept store. The service is awesome, prices are reasonable and they have a lot of stuff to offer. I do highly recommend the steak tacos with everything on it (which is what I got) and the chicken flautas! They are amazing. Also, just to answer any questions; today I was on a walk with my dog. I called and they let me in to pay with my dog. So they are dog friendly in my book, but always call to make sure if you are ever walking by with your pet and want to grab a bite.”

“i usually order jezifs through doordash since i got a deal on dashpass and they're on there. every single time ive ordered from here, the food has been incredibly well made and packed, and my current order was very carefully thought for. i had ordered a red velvet cake, oreo cheesecake, and chocolate cake. since they didn't have chocolate, they compensated by sending a tres leches and their apple cake as well, which was so lovely to see. overall amazing place to get food from, all my love to the staff!”
