“This was my second visit to Tempura Place. It was a Saturday at 3:30pm. I had never eaten any kind of sushi in my 50 years and I decided to dive in here. I've ordered the spicy tuna and the spicy crab. Sense a theme? I guess a total of one person could technically eat-in but this is primarily take-out. I was informed it would take 10 minutes to prepare but it was done before that. I watched Korean Broadcasting Company on the television as I waited. I experienced pleasant service and great food. Waribashi chopsticks were included.”

“I just returned from Costa Rica! Three days later I ran to Tucanes for Costa Rican food! They do not disappoint! Delicious, fresh, authentic and beautifully presented is exactly how to describe my meal! In addition to scrumptious food, TucanesHas a lovely, pristine atmosphere with excellent service. Restrooms are immaculate! I love this place. I went back a week later for another wonderful experience! I am now a regular!”

“My partner and I decided to try this place based on the reviews and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! We ordered the large jerk chicken meal, macaroni and cheese, and small chicken soup! This is a hole in the wall spot! Our food was DELICIOUS! I will 100% be ordering again but a LARGE chicken soup. The soup had so much flavor and the chicken just slipped off the bone! The mac also had so much flavor and was so good! The jerk chicken was a bit spicy for me but I don't have a high tolerance to spice. My partner said it was good! He couldn't decide what part was his favorite and said he would go back again! The service was great! Next time you get gas, help yourself to some hearty, home cooked Jamaican food!!”

“Host and waitstaff, we're very nice and helpfull. I knew the place as a diner 40yrs ago! It's come a long way as far as food and atmosphere. I ordered the chicken shish kabobs, tasty but the chicken was a little overcooked, my date ordered the hamburger ? w/ all the works and really enjoyed it!”

“This place is pretty cool and the service was amazing. We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. But I'd def come back and get a cup with a smaller portion of the cone.”

“I had the pleasure of coming here for the first time and being greeted and helped by Jeremy....Jeremy asked questions, listened to what I liked and gave me great recommendations and even tried flavors I would normally not like and ended up enjoying. “One of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly flavorful, and everyone from the owner to the greeter to the waiters are a pleasure to talk with, making the experience that much better. It can get a bit noisy, but the tables are spaced so you're not right on top of your neighbor. Suggestions- Apps- Malfatti, Polpette, Cauliflower Sformatino Main- Spinach & Roasted Garlic Risotto, Cherry Braised Short Ribs, Sunday Gravy, Braised Veal Cheek. Dessert- Beignets, Carrot Cake These are our favorites, but I've heard no complaints about any dishes.”

“In my opinion, Brick+Dough has the best pizza in NNJ. Now, obviously, I am a bigger fan of rustique-style pizza than traditional (NY Style or otherwise). But the pizza is always, always on point and the staff is both courteous and extremely helpful. The managers are generous and everyone there always greets us with a smile, whether they're bored or busy and stressed.The place not only has a family feel to it, but it is run with a genuine feeling of family as well. In today's environment, with everyone bending over backwards to get as many people in and out, the fact that the place is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays is a huge positive. “Went for my birthday on a Tuesday night. Surprisingly packed for a weekday but I did make a reservation.The enclosed patio is the best. Great place for pictures since there’s lots of lights and greenery. The ambiance was nice and the food was amazing. The cocktails from my knowledge were also a hit- mango mojito was our favorite. The blood moon cocktail was alright. Our server was very friendly and checked on us often. Even brought out a complimentary macaroon for my birthday. A lovely restaurant! Will definitely be returning.”
