The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. This establishment is run by the most welcoming, humble business owner (Billy) I have ever met. However, his food does all the talking as its always fresh and tasty. The pizza crust is perfectly crisp every time. The ratio of cheese to sauce is spot on. The toppings are high quality. The flavors complement each other in such that you can taste all the ingredients. The marinara sauce used for the other dishes has a nice balance and does not overwhelm the dish it is served with. The Sicilian slice is probably one of the best I have ever had. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich, and the grilled chicken broccoli rabe cooked to order is amazing. Also, one of my favorites is the eggplant as I can eat that every day, not too thick, not too thin. The bread is always crispy and fresh. After your meal, there is always a Thank You coming from the staff as you walk out with a smile on your face.“

They don’t pretend to be anything fancier than they are (they’re as un-fancy as a place can get), nor do they put on any airs when all you want is a slice and a Snapple.A busy man - most likely the owner - will take your order in between the conversation he’s having with the other person behind the counter, and there are old, now defunct, coin-operated bubble gum machines up against the wall, and a small menu with very likely little variation from the menu that started it all for them in the mid-70’s is lit up with press-letters in the standard see-through red you grew up seeing in pizza places as a kid.The place is freaking perfect. “My family has tried several pies from Hoboken's Pizzeria. Our favorite is still the Spinach Artichoke Rectangle Pie and we now prefer it cooked light so the crust is soft vs crispy. I got some friends into this pizzeria and this pie, it's become their favorite too.After 1 pie was too crispy, almost burnt, the owner remembered us and gave a discount the next time I went in.
