I had tried Cuban Pete's years ago (had a steak etc) and didn't care for their food, and I love Cuban food. Tried it again today at the mall and I initially got the wrong order of Empanadas there and then they corrected it and both chicken and beef Empanadas tasted like flowers or cologne...something floral. It was not pleasant. Meat to dough ratio was good but I didn't care for whatever that flavor was. It was also in the cheese and Spinach one. I tried to love them but 2 times...read full review
Never been a fan of Cuban Pete's. I find it over priced but the express at the food court is reasonable for the portions and price. Roast pork is moist and flavorful. Service is lacking. The guys behind the counter seem lost. Management needs to prepare and train the counter personnel better. Line and service was very unorganized. But once you get passed that food is ok.

The food is good but service sucks they literally tried to charge me for sause that came with the meal because I wanted it on the side since I was taking it home ! And pink sause should not be heated up because it has mayo in it and the other sause had tomato which for that type of sause the tomato are raw so why would I heat them up. Smh
