“If you are in Santa Fe you absolutely have to visit Tres Colores! We were up there with family and friends for my dad's internment in the national cemetery. There were 13 of us that showed up for lunch without calling ahead. The space is small but they didn't even bat an eye. They quickly slid tables and chairs together and seated us. Service was excellent and the food was some of the best I've ever had. The presentation was beautiful and flavor was phenomenal. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with nachos from anywhere else. It was so well balanced. I am grateful for the hospitality they provided and will always remember this experience.“
“Complimentary sopaipillas were incredibly delicious for such a simple food! Followed what other reviews did by using the butter and honey as a condiment and I loved these! They remind me of a more bread like funnel cake. Got the chile relleno with both red and green sauce. I preferred it with the green chili sauce. The dish itself was probably the best chile relleno I have ever had with a very tasty green chili that was big, plump and so flavorful on it's own.“
“Recommended by our tourguide at VIP Tours, we went on a Saturday for an early lunch. While it was busy, the manager seated us at a 2-top by the front door. Upon using the restroom, I noticed a better 4-top in back, which he easily moved us to when asked. The server was friendly and fast. We both had the chicken tostados (my wife without beans). It was fast, fresh, beautifully-cooked chicken, and properly portioned. They also provided two 'rolls' of fried bread, which were delicious! It's a pretty basic diner-feel and somewhat dark. But if you are looking for good N. Mexican/Mexican food that is very reasonable and delish, this is a great option. PS, our tour guide highly recommended the burritos.“
“The service is unbelievable here and the food even better! You must get the Soup Armor, it's very different but it's so delicious. We were given a selection of moles to try and they were all outstanding. The pork was delicious and my shrimp enchiladas were too. Overall a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!“
“We are always recommending this place to our guests so we decided to check it out for ourselves and we were not disappointed. Owner brought a grande margarita that was sooo tasty. We ordered the combo plates. Huge portions and so very tasty. Tina was such a gracious host, Sopapillas were huge and lots of honey. Oh, we will definitely be returning!!“
“Went for brunch and got the sopecitos, chilaquiles, fish tacos and tacos al pastor... everything was amazing.The space is really nice, and so were the staff. The patio looks lovely and is covered. Indoors was really quiet.We had a long wait for the food (more than a half hour), so maybe not a good place to go if you're in a rush. But the food was worth it.“
“Very delicious and very authentic. I love real Mexican food, and this place is it. It's outside the down town tucked away, but ready for you to enjoy. Pricing is spot on, from $7-$13 each depending what you get. We really enjoyed our Mole de Pollo, Chile Verde puerco tamal, and Los Chiles Rellenos. Plenty of tortillas with your meal and the horchata was excellent. I definitely recommend this place. You order at the counter and then there's a little eating area to the side.“
“An institution for a reason. We came for lunch on a Thursday and still had a pretty long wait (~45 minutes) for a table, but we passed the time exploring the shops nearby. We started with the wild shrimp cocktail which was fresh + refreshing, and the pomelo salad, which was a surprise winner. I got the Durango omelette with Xmas chile sauce. The omelette was delicious and huge - could have been split between two people. Between the red and green chile, I'm definitely more of a fan of the green, it's milder. The dish even came with tortillas and jam (apparently you put the jam on the tortillas). My friends also really liked the chile relleno we got on the side. The menu here has so many options it feels like we barely scratched the surface, but everyone really enjoyed the meal so it's safe to say the food will probably be good no matter what on their extensive menu you choose to try.“

“The food is good. I usually get the New Mexico Chopped Salad. I was really bummed by the lack of service at this location. We ate on the patio and it was a learning experience that I would not recommend. The noise from the cars really added a negative effect to our meal. “We were there for breakfast and we were NOT disappointed. My omelette was perfectly fluffy and filled with goodness. And that salsa! It added to the delectable experience. But what topped it all was the impeccable service. Our coffee cups were always filled (and it was delicious) and we were made to feel as though we were the only ones in the restaurant. When we left, we were given un fuerte abrazo which we appreciated. We highly recommend this establishment!“

They do it a little different here as far as toppings which I love, they have diced fresh cabbage, red pickled onion and of course Chiles toreados (fried whole chilies)… my mouth is watering!Super bummed we missed the burritos but I gladly had another two adobo tacos for breakfast. “I had four tacos and a beef fajita. I have never had that many tacos in one meal ever at anywhere else just because they are too delicious. They have a large variety for meat such as shrimp, beef, beef tongue, and beef tripe etc. Beef tongue taco is a must have, which is really flavorful and tender. Their salsa and roasted jalapeno is spicy enough that is fully satisfying. Their food is not too salty but also let you add the amount of salt you want so it fits your taste the most. I would have come back every other day if I lived in Santa Fe.“

But at K’ Bueno, the bison is king. You’re missing out by not eating here, doubly so by not ordering the bison.My girlfriend insists that I mention the tortillas. “This is our second stay at The Inn on the Alameda, and it’s our favorite Santa Fe inn. Beautiful property, lovely rooms ( some with working fireplaces) with courtyards, patios or balconies, very clean, and the staff treat you like royalty. Joe’s Tequila Bar in the Inn has great drinks and fabulous food. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding. Highly recommend this place!“
“It was the best beef caldo I have ever had! The spices created a wonderful tongue surface burn, so you can still taste the food! I turned up the heat with the Chile powder on the table. “We LOVED Atrisco's Cafe! We visited Santa Fe from Southern California and we were really looking forward to some fantastic New Mexican cuisine. The problem is that we are vegetarian, and we've had a really difficult time finding suitable New Mexican food, since almost all restaurants do not offer vegetarian options--until we found Atrisco's.Not only did Atrisco's offer vegetarian options, but their offerings were mouth watering and prepared expertly. This was one of the best New/Mexican experiences we've ever had.We ordered 2 beers, chips and salsa, sopaipillas, the vegetarian especial enchilada, vegetarian especial stuffed sopaipilla and a kid's cheese enchilada with a side of beans. What a meal!The veggies especial included mushrooms, zucchini, yellow squash, red pepper and green pepper, and they were busting with flavor and still tender crisp. We've had vegetarian Mexican food that tasted like stewed vegetables because they were so overcooked, and they included broccoli and cauliflower for Pete's sake! These are not veggies that say Mexico or New Mexico.Even the tortilla chips were extraordinary. They weren't oily, and were a bit thicker than your normal chips. The corn flavor in them was remarkable. The salsa was medium spicy, chunky and oh so delicious! YUM!We had the sopaipillas with local honey that was on our table. The cinnamon flavor really came through without being overpowering. The honey was so thick and flavorful that you could taste the wildflowers that it was made from.This was a top notch experience and I highly recommend you try Atrisco's. We ordered within 5min of being seated and were worried about the wait time, but less than 10 min We were served a fresh steaming hot meal. My fish was definitely right out the fryer, my moms patty melt was right off the grill. The green Chile queso was fresh and tasty. The green Chile was spicy but not too hot. The tartar sauce was delicious but I didn't get any hint of the habanero. Wouldn't mind hotter Chile.“

“After a nice long hike (Upper Canyon Loop), my wife and I were looking for comfort food, but relatively health, to slake our hunger. We had seen a billboard for this place and decided to give it a try. I had the vegan tamales plate, Christmas, with rice and beans. My wife had the same, but red, and with calabecitas instead of rice. Everything was delicious. The beans were clearly house made, and delicious, with a blend of salt and savor. The tamales were a perfect temperature, and the tortillas and sopapillas were piping hot. Some have complained that the sopapillas are too bready. We tasted the bread flavor, but we really liked them. A sopapilla should not be a dessert item on its own; there's honey on the table to make it as sweet as you want. We have another place on our Santa Fe rotation.“

“Amazing mole. After dining at several "nicer" Santa Fe restaurants, this place topped them all. Not a lot of mole where I live so I make a point of getting all I can when I make it to Santa Fe. This was hands down the best. Probably the best margaritas I had too. Can't speak to anything else on the menu, but if you are looking for mole, don't miss this one. Great service too.“
“This is the 5th El Parasol we have tried. The tacos are fried to perfection. The bean burrito with red sauce hit the spot. We think the red chili was a tiny bit spicier here than we remembered elsewhere. The restaurant has a bit fancier decor than the other locations. LOVE the food can’t wait for our next trip to New Mexico.“
“I enjoy coming here for the breakfast burrito deal in the late morning. I’ve gone a few times and usually order pic-up, but every once and a while we will sit at the bar and order a michelada while we wait or the cerviche tostadas (on a separate occasion, which were fantastic). The burrito was big and had the right ratio of egg, bacon etc, it wasn't all potato like a lot of places. The green chile was hot, which I loved and the customer service was great! “We found them at the Plaza in Santa Fe. After a discussion of where to sate our appetite with a late lunch we decided to hit up the cart. They were out of the red chile pork tamales so we settled on the last two of their green chile chicken tamales and a beef fajita wrap. The tamales were delicious and despite the beef being a little dry (not surprising for the end of their day) it was still delicious. The service was great, both guys running the cart were smiling and friendly, we were able to pay with a credit card which was not expected but convenient and it was the serving size and price were exactly what we needed. Hopefully when we return today it will be in time to get the pork tamales!“

“I found this place at a whim, feeling very hungry after watching my grandson playing a basketball game. The waitress was cordial and professional. I was interested in trying their version of menudo, and my wife was interested in the relleno plate. The way the rellenos were made are different but very good. The menudo is good as well. It pairs up with the corn tortillas better than bread that they provided. Mind you, the larger bowl of menudo is literally a large bowl very well worth the price. Now, as for the relleno plate, we are not sure why a Russian salad is served with it. It was different, but very tasty. A Guatemalan/ Mexican food restaurant serving a Russian salad is baffling. They do serve very delicious food and the place is quite busy as well. They do have kids' favorite food available. It's a good place to try at least once, and they do have a website as well.“

“Food was excellent and places was great! Staff was very friendly and personable. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because though I waiter was nice, after taking our order he never came back to check on us... no one did. We wanted a refill, needed more napkins and another fork and could never get anyone's attention, though our waiter passed by us a few times. Next time we are that way we will stop by again. “We ate at the Cantina. Food and service were great. I had the best seasoned steak in a taco that I've ever had. I thought the music was a bit loud for a Sunday night, but the view made up for it.One thing that is unclear though... I'm not sure why these restaurants are listed together -the Cafe and the Cantina . When we went here for dinner, we were told in no uncertain terms that the Cantina functions as a completely separate restaurant from the Cafe. As such, the reservations that we made at the Cafe were no good for rooftop seating at the Cantina. We ended up getting seats at the Cantina without a problem, but I don't know why they don't just list the places separately to avoid the confusion?“
