“Don't let the unassuming entrance fool you; there's a great cocktail bar in here. The menu is interesting and the bartenders are talented. The only issue here is the price, frankly. $22-25 per cocktail is wild, even for Tahoe. Lots of people mention the mandatory cover charge for live music also; we didn't have a cover, as there wasn't anyone performing at the time. If you tacked on another $15 per person to our experience, I would've dropped another star from this review.It was worth checking out, but I'm not sure we'll be coming back considering the price. There are other places a short walk away with good vibes and cocktails for far less.“

“7/22/23 Edgewood Restaurant is a definite 5 stars for the food, the service and the view. Zach made a reservation here for 7:45PM to celebrate our engagement earlier that day. The restaurant inside and out is veyy beautiful. There's a valet service which I'm not sure if it's mandatory or not, but Zach handed the valet guy the keys and we proceeded up the staircase inside. There are huge windows and an outdoor space you can walk to enjoy the view. We waited an extra 10 minutes to get a table right by the window, but it was worth the wait since the view was amazing. All of staff here are dressed very professionally and the service was truly outstanding. Aaron was our waiter that evening and he was great. Even the chairs are wonderful because they are so comfy and they support your back and shoulders. Here's what we got: - Bronzed sea scallops (to share) - French onion soup (his) - Lobster chowder (mine) - Veal chops (his) - Halibut (mine) - Fuji apple ginger sour (mine) We went all out since we were celebrating the engagement. The bread and butter they give you was phenomenal and honestly probably the best bread and butter I've ever had. They give you a variety of bread and the butter is so smooth and so creamy. We would go outside to enjoy the view and see the sunset when we were waiting for the food to come. Everything we had tasted amazing. Would definitely return!“

I can tell the owner was at the register, such care showed towards us as customers. Will be returning tomorrow as well. Gas station coffee was not doing it for me on this trip LOL! “We had an incredible stay at this large hotel in the heart of South Lake Tahoe! The location was unbeatable, right in the midst of all the action. The amenities were amazing, from the spacious rooms to the top-notch service. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive, making our experience even more enjoyable. I especially loved the breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains. You've also got many food options in the hotel and at a short walk. “Sophie was incredible. I was attending a bachelorette party weekend and as I left to get coffee all 13 girls texted me their coffee order. As I was already there, I cautiously approached Sophie who has multiple door dash orders to complete in a timely matter, a few customers and a broken espresso machine. Sophie took my orders and had the drinks ready and made to perfection in just 10 minutes. She was extremely professional and I made sure to go back again the next day to order just three coffees because it was so good. Thank you Sophie!“
