So I was searching for the perfect chocolate cake for Christmas and decided to track down a Brooklyn Blackout cake. I drove from Long Island to Greenpoint Brooklyn and would do it again in a heartbeat. I bought a 6" blackout cake for work and a 9 " one for home. I also decided to buy a 6" pistachio cardamom cake and some cookies. The cookies are the best ever. Not overly sweet, gentle tastes of what they're supposed to be(Ginger, peanut butter, etc) No overkill on these cookies...read full review

Always a good vibe at Ovenly. The pastries and dessert goodies are always fresh and delicious. Love the cookies. Had the new sour dough bagel w/white-fish and everything tasted home made, again fresh and appetizing. The service is always on point, the place has an inclusive friendly atmosphere. Coffee menu also keeps pace with any in the hood.
