Best Croissants and KouignAan (not sure on spelling) in Brooklyn also got the breakfast sandwich and breakfast tacos highly recommend. We're visiting from out of town and the Staff was super friendly and gave us some great tips on where to go. We will be back. Solid breakfast & lunch spot
I actually think the pastries are a bit hit and miss, but I’m clearly in the minority on that one. They also rarely heat up any of the display food (quiche, fritata, etc) much above wave-a-candle-in-its-general-direction temperature.BUT, sitting outside or in the backyard with a coffee and sandwich make this place a return spot. Our favorite place to get croissants and pain au chocolat! The plain croissants are so so good, flaky and proofed to perfection. We usually go on the weekends when sometimes there’s a line, but service is very fast and the people behind the counter are always nice and efficient.
