Villager has become my favorite coffee shop in NYC. Their excellent selection of roasters from around the world and top-notch preparation of their brews stand out among the shops in the city. Add the great vibe and friendly staff, and you have a real winner. A+++
busy yet chill cafe with really good coffee. perfect place to rest your legs, read a book, or catch up with a friend.we stumbled upon this shop while walking through brooklyn and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. the coffee was good, vibes were chill and social, and the staff was friendly. it does get quite busy at times but it seems to ebb and flow.would recommend for those who want a quick caffeine fix or a cute spot to read your current book.

Charming cafe with light fare—but the main thing is that the coffee here is incredible. You can get a pourover (sometimes a 15 minute wait) and there are usually two espresso options—both always fantastic. You can rely on this place for superbly delicious coffee no matter how you like it. They also have a fantastic selection of retail coffee from national and international roasters.
