Taco Restaurants near Flushing

“The final stop on our 2023 Birria Passport for my partner and I! We stopped in on a Sunday evening, and walked into a restaurant full of smoke. Not sure if they'd just had a fire or something burned, but we were shocked to step into a cloud of smoke and condensation on all the windows. The decor and ambiance leaves much to be desired and wasn't the cleanest, but this can be overlooked for good food. Service was a bit odd - at the counter, the two workers were bantering while we tried to order and I had to repeat my order back three times to make sure it was right. We ordered one of each kind of taco and meat, and my partner got a burger. The burger? DIVINE. And unique, and flavorful. Like seriously, come here for that alone! Their fries were surprisingly good as well. Their birria didn't blow me away like other MN spots, and we didn't get consomme since we only got two birria tacos, but still very good. I loved their Al Pastor! Their carne asada tasted more like ground hamburger than steak, and I wasn't blown away by the carnitas. I wish there was a bit more on the tacos for $4.50 a pop. Their salsa lineup is self serve which I love and great variety of flavors! TLDR: UNREAL burger, great al pastor, great salsas, mediocre ambiance and service. Next time, I'd take a burger and a few tacos to go!“

“4 years ago, i moved into the building across the street from where the tacos bravos truck parks. the entire time i have lived in flushing, i haven't found better Mexican food. i've tried so many different items on their menu and have never been disappointed. you absolutely should go here if you're looking for authentic and delicious tacos, quesadillas, tortas, enchiladas, burritos, sopas, etc. i'm obsessed with this place! i wish they would expand and make a brick and mortar restaurant!“

“Love birria-landia in brooklyn and decided to come to the roosevelt ave location. This one definitely seems larger as they had a whole section for orders and things. Food is always good but i will say it did get pretty expensive. Downside is that parking in this area is difficult.“

“I had got 2 bowls and 2 nachos bags with queso sauce for a responsibly price and the workers was very fast and polite . and not to Exaggerate I almost cried the way the food was so good I totally recommend everyone to come to this this spot !!!“

“The view is beautiful of Manhattan, the mango margarita and tacos are delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well. I had an overall great time for happy hour. Tacos are small $4 each (Birría taco in pic.) and Margarita $10 -$12 each if I remember correctly because of mango flavor.“

“They are always packed which is good but not when it gets too crowded which is often expect to wait about 30-45 min for your food however their food is decent. I had a chicken quesadilla and the chicken was dry. i tried it again but this time birria and it was much better but once you get to the center its dry overall their decent and good for cravings and btw there is no parking!!!!“
