“Another fantastic dinner at PS Kitchen. Highly recommend the Thai Chili wings, crabby cakes and Brussel Sprouts. Our table also had the Linguini Alfredo, Cesar wrap and the Thai Sweet Chili Sandwich. We didn’t like the pretzel bun but otherwise everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed. Staff are friendly and we did not feel rushed. Will definitely be coming again and highly recommend.“

“Came back a second time and can officially say Tong Brooklyn in Bushwick is the best Thai food I know of in NYC, in the same class as LA and Thailand. And one of my favorite restaurants periodt. Everything has been top tier and filled with delight and surprise.“

“Please please please stop coming here all of you folks who don’t care about the care that this place is bringing to you.Make a reservation.Respect the process. This place is gorgeous and is the reason we drink (or the reason drinking is joyful and not just a slow decline).Table side sazerac or martini. Enjoy. Live.TIP THE STAFF! They’re essentially making you a Disneyland level illusion. Not the space which is *chefs kiss* but the movement of the staff. Slow. Intentional. Well educated in past and current manners.Truly this place is special and will stay special if talk show up like you’re in booze church.Put on an outfit goddamnit. Flirt w the bartenders. But don’t interrupt!Be sexy have fun try more absinthe.“

“My friend and I visited Avoca for a Saturday brunch, and it was fantastic. While there was a wait for the outdoor dining area, we found a table indoors without a problem. My friend ordered the EGG SLUTT, and I had the AVOCA EGG WHITE SMASH. I absolutely loved my egg white smash sandwich, especially the breakfast potatoes, which were cut into wedges and seasoned with special spices. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was laid-back and not too loud, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed brunch. It’s definitely a good idea to make a reservation, as the place was almost full by the time we finished. Overall, Avoca is a great place for a decent brunch.“

“We found this gem of a bar/restaurant and visited five or six times. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff very professional and friendly. Eddie provided excellent service and Gabriel the owner is so welcoming and friendly and has time for everyone. The food was out of this world - particular mentions are Ravioli Zucca and the Brasato di Costolette di Manzo (short ribs to die for). The bomboloni (Italian doughnuts with chocolate and caramel sauces) is one of the best desserts I’ve had! We would definitely recommend this place. It’s in an excellent location opposite Central Park.“

“Came here to try out something different in the city, and let me just say… this place turned out to be quite amazing! The food was okay, the drinks were good and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was a vibe! (Thanks to the host Titus, and instructor Alex). Overall I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a fun place for a date night, night out with your friends/ co-workers/ family, or if you’re simply just looking to try something new“

“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“

“The atmosphere was fine and the plants on the wall were lovely. The monk fish was ok. The burger was good but substitutions are not allowed (I asked about subbing some greens instead of fries). You also can’t choose how your beef is cooked and I was fine with medium. It came well done, unfortunately. I like salty foods and this burger was pretty salty but I didn’t mind. The bacon was the best part of the entree.I’m adding an additional star in my review because they cook their fries in duck tallow which is much healthier and tastier than seed oils. Fries cooked in seed oils (most restaurants) contain trans fats because the frier cools and heats up over and over which causes the oil molecules to degrade down to trans fats. I’m glad more restaurants are starting to switch from canola and soy bean oil to animal fats. Ok, coming off my soap box.“

“Otis, My Man! - Animal House I planned out both dinner and show Friday night for my wife. I have the first reservation at 6pm but in order to make this all work she has to leave work a little early. She says it shouldn't be a problem but all I'm thinking about is their homemade breads. If there's an issue, I may leave late. Woman, set yourself on fire and run out of there! Once inside, this is a beautiful space in Bushwick. Bushwick always makes me laugh. If my grandparents were alive they'd say the rosary for me. Bushwick in the late 70s? As I see the subway across the street, I can see why in 2024 this is a popular neighborhood. Walking inside, there is a long beautiful looking bar that's stocked with some high end booze. I was about to order one of the great Scotch offerings but I see a smoky & spicy Otis signature drink called "Revenge Of The Line" made with Mezcal, Charred Pineapple and Habañero. Ah-mazing. The Otis Menu isn't broken down into starters and mains. The Otis team lists everything, figure it out and order. My wife & I made this work. Starting with the Burrata and the Roasted Beets. The Burrata was on top of this Sweet Potato and Tomato Jam. Once the burrata was cut open, delish! We slathered the cheese on the charred focaccia, soo good! The roasted beets with Ruby Frost Apples were another solid dish. What made it next level was the Crispy Quinoa and Candied Pecan bits. Highly recommended. Next, Lamb Meatballs and Braised Pork Pasta. We're sitting at the chef's table and watching these guys cook is crazy. They have 5 pans going at once and they are hustling to get food out. I see them take the Lamb Meatballs and put them on the grill to get that charred goodness. When they're finished the Lamb Meatballs are plated over a Tomatillo Tahini. This is a phenomenal dish, and the definition of phenomenal: very remarkable, extraordinary. Finally, the Braised Pork Pasta. This was something I never had before, it says miso but the underlying flavor tasted more like cinnamon. House made Gigli Pasta with Pork Shoulder which was cooked low and slow, fork tender soft and loaded with flavor. This dish was topped with House-Made Ricotta. Best described as a little heat with sliky tomato sauce, the Braised Pork Pasta is the best dish on the Otis menu. The desserts looked amazing but we were so packed I had to say No Mas. I am so glad we dined at Otis, I highly recommend Otis for Cocktails and Dinner.“

Although the Lychee Martinis contain no vodka (Saki instead) they are fab and definitely get you buzzed! Ask for Yammie when you come! She’s the sweetest! You won’t regret visiting this establishment!!!“

“Really tasty spot. My only gripe and the reason why I docked one star, is that the portion of steak in the lomo was very lacking. For a hundred dollar dish to share, I'd expect more protein. It was 80% fries. The steak that was in there, was indeed nicely prepared and flavorful. Just wanted more.“

“Some of the best drinks in the city mixed with delicious food. If you are looking to fill that amaro-forward bitter cocktail crave, this is your place. The cocktails are expertly crafted with care towards the floral and delicate flavors. Don’t scoff at either the Appletini or the Espresso Martini, they will best any iteration you have had anywhere else. Lastly…though it’s not on the menu…ask for a Vesper; you won’t be disappointed.“

“Food was great! I got carne asada tacos and split some nachos with friends! I normally don’t order carne asada tacos because I’ve had some with overly chewy meat but these were super yummy! I only wish the price included some rice and refried beans is my only comment. The nachos were good as well. Our waitress was polite as well. The music playing was really enjoyable too. Will def be back“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Royale. First it has an awesome bar and restaurant indoors and the space outdoors is beautifully decorated. I have celiac disease and they had the most delicious gluten free nachos (made on site) ever! They were perfect. I was so happy I could have them and they were excellent! Great atmosphere and food! Highly recommend when in the Village.“

“I’m so happy our original Christmas Eve reservation was cancelled and we found this gem. It was perfect. Romantic ambience, beyond excellent service, food was delicious, drinks were strong. My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. Main: -The wood fired fish for two: they brought the fish out from the kitchen to show us the fish in flames and that was very cute and appreciated -Meatless Rigatoni: I seriously held on to this dish to the very last moments even though I didn’t have enough room to finish it lol I was obsessed with the sauce Dessert: - Panna Cotta: the balsamic reduction was something I did not expect with this dessert but it was magical“

“We went for Mother’s Day brunch and it was absolutely phenomenal. The waitress Lydia was so charismatic and such a treat. The food was so good, we got the veggie omelet the breakfast burrito and the eggs Benedict and shared and it was ample portions sizes and so flavorful. The drinks were good too (bloody Maria’s and martini and beer). But for the brunch experience they put it over the top with the celebrating a special occasion and giving the moms a flower on their way out!Vegetarian options: Veggie omelet was to die for“

“Came here on a Saturday night and it definitely has a cozy vibe with the dark wood and dim lighting; good spot for a date or hang with friends. Was able to be seated in the back and they were playing the fight on tv, which was nice, albeit makes it feel a little more casual.Kitchen was open till 11, which was great. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and the kale Caesar was good, but would say go for the sandwich/ burgers. Would definitely come back.“

“Much anticipated place and it ended up being mostly good but not without issues. We came for a happy hour on Wed at 6:30pm. The place is tiny and you really want the bar seating. It was 3 of us so we sat at the table in the back which was weirdly pointed towards another table — ok, I guess they envision some sort of communal dining. It’s a vibe but def. lacking privacy. Both Japanese and pickled martini were good but I don’t think they were $22 good. I ordered them thinking that they’re $12 due to happy hour and the waitress never mentioned anything until we got our check and were surprised to see both of them being at the regular price. Basic courtesy would be to make it clear. All of the snacks—boquerones, razor clams, scallops—were delicious, although $27 for a can of clams made me weep with memories of getting same thing in Barcelona for just a few euro. The worst part was waiting for oysters; I get that this is half-priced happy hour so I can wait maybe up to half hour, but ours came 45 mins after ordering. Kind of unacceptable. Oysters were small but tasty. Good deal if you can get in on it at the start of the HH.“

“Between my wife and me, we had the lobster bisque, Bibb salad, and roasted halibut. The bisque is the best she has had in a long time (maybe ever?). The salad was huge and very fresh and well dressed. The fish wasn't over prepared (my pet peeve). Great service, etc. everything you want.“

“Amazing place! Came here a few months ago since we had a gift card. The bread was absolutely wonderful. Very fluffy with a lovely crisp crust. We ate more bread than we usually would but it was just so good. Drinks were nice. For our meals, we had chicken with waffles and a beet walnut salad. The brussel sprouts were also tasty. There were enough for leftovers. It's an expensive place but service and ambience were stellar. Their team clearly cares a lot about their restaurant and hospitality. I would come here again.Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts, saladsParking: Parking lot across the street“

“I had an amazing time at this speakeasy! My group of 4 had a reservation.I think the expectations are pretty clear- if you expect to walk-in to an exclusive speakeasy, go early; if you're wish to go later, get a resy. People will be turned away if they're at capacity, especially if a big reservation is booked. It doesn't matter if your friends are inside- they have to follow code. The vibe is REALLY fun- it feels like a swanky house party with awesome music and drinks. I think the service was great for how busy it was. I only drank is beers, but my friends had fun cocktails and shots. Everyone is so friendly. They also put a gratuity charge on larger party's bills, so that's helpful.I love speakeasies. Cannot recommend RRLIC enough!“

“One of my favorite bars to go to on the weekends! The food and service is great. Nachos and the sliders are always the best, great selection of beer and cocktails. The music could be a little lower since you can barely have a conversation with another person.“
