“Lagusta's Luscious vegan chocolate caramels are the best chocolate caramels I've ever had. Full stop. The flavor combinations are original and delightful, and create rich, complex treats. My only complaint is that there are not two layers in the box. I just told my family that after I eat the last one, a little piece of my soul dies. They're really that good.“

“Great space for a date night, study session, playing games with any group or individual (2 player games and group games; family-friendly games; games based on difficulty), or a place to chill out. The atmosphere is laid back, friendly, and inclusive. The food is always delicious. The drink selection is impressive and every beverage I've ordered has been amazing.Dietary restrictions: vegan and GF options“

“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“

“Basic greasy diner fare. 3.8 overall.LOVED:The Benedict choices. I had the Red and Green light (I think that's the name) and had them hold the English muffins to make it gluten-free. It was tasty. The atmosphere. Hopping. Great happy vibe. The price. Totally reasonable with some very economical choices.LIKED:The food was tasty enough. Nothing special but good enough comfort diner food and fresher and less greasy than your old fashioned diner food...so more edible and healthy.“

“I was a little disappointed by the brownies I got here. They tasted like cardboard sprinkled with cocoa powder. They looked fudgey and sweet but tasted nothing like what they looked like. The staff were friendly and the upstairs has many tables in a diner-booth style. I'll try another baked-good next time and hopefully, I can change my rating.“

“I recently visited New Paltz Bagel Café and was treated to a delightful breakfast experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, setting the tone for what turned out to be a memorable visit.I opted for a classic choice—a plain bagel topped with nova lox, cream cheese, and capers. The bagel itself was a testament to freshness, with a perfectly toasted exterior giving way to a warm, soft interior. Each bite was a harmonious blend of textures, with the crispy bagel complementing the creamy cream cheese and tender lox.Speaking of the lox, they were undeniably fresh, adding a burst of flavor to every bite. The generous portion served ensured that I got to enjoy this delectable treat throughout the entire meal. What truly elevated my experience, however, was the friendly and attentive staff. Their welcoming demeanor created a warm and inviting atmosphere, making me feel right at home.Overall, my visit to New Paltz Bagel Café was nothing short of exceptional. If you're in the mood for a delicious bagel made with quality ingredients and served with a side of genuine hospitality, I highly recommend stopping by this charming café.“

“Always come by the plaza where this is for the pizza and wanted to give the cafe a shot. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and kind, she was quick to take and make my order and even joke with me when I wanted no pickles on my chicken sandwich when she told others who ordered the same said as much as well. Was great to watch my hot honey chicken sandwich all homemade, very much appreciated dedication to real home cooking. As for the sandwich, chicken was fried just right and it cut thin, not a huge chuck of fried chicken breast that often just silds right out of the bread. Hot honey was sweet with a strong spicy after bite, man I should asked for more of hot honey, the kaiser roll was nice and lightly toasted, bacon was cooked sightly crispy but still meaty and cheese was melted till very gooey. The menu here is bit small, but everything being homemade makes up for it.“
