“What a pleasant surprise! Stopped by on a whim. Attentive service and easily the Birria de res (con queso Oaxaca ?) I’ve had in NYC! Their café de olla is tasty with cinnamon and other warm spices. Def check this spot out if you’re in the area!“

“I have been a customer with Eggstravaganza on Park Ave and E52nd St for years and I was so excited to see that they have a location by Sunnyside while I was visiting a friend and I insisted to order from this spot! They had a buy 1 get 1 deal, I ordered the Mexican Wrap and chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and bacon, they were so delicious just like the city location! Pancakes were fluffy, bacon was crispy, eggs were over medium like I requested, not over cooked or undercooked. Wrap is huge and stuffed with yumminess! It has chorizo, eggs, potatoes, peppers and onions, a great mix. I will definitely reorder from this place next time I visit my friend! Unfortunately, we devoured most of the plate and then remembered to write this review so we have no photos of the food ?Everyone! Hurry and take advantage of the buy 1 get 1 deal! You’ll fall in love?“

“The food was tasty, beef in beef quesadilla was a bit tough but other than that the food was overall good. Quantity was larger than I thought. The restaurant is casual and nothing fancy but the server was really sweet and I enjoyed the experience.“

“Hands down one of the best authentic places to get a burrito in NYC. Everything tastes nice and fresh. The Staff is amazing. Also has the perfect vegan options. Highly recommend if you're in the area or just exploring the the perfect burrito in “

“This place is a decent vibe. The happy hour price was phenomenal the tacos were ok. The corn and calamari were definitely standouts. The tres leches was a disappointment for sure. Service was super fast and they let's us order all our happy hour drinks in one go.“

“The store has minimal indoor seating but the food is really good. It's more of a take-out spot. We ordered 3 tacos for taco Tuesdays. We got mushroom al pastor, carnitas, and bistec and chorizo. The bistec and chorizo has such a good flavor but the meat was SO tough. The mushroom al pastor was my favorite of them all. They do have outdoor seating just not indoor.“

“I been looking for a store like this for a long time. They have them all over LA. I didn't get the candy fruit things, I purchased the ramen esquite & the Tostito ceviche. Both were good, the ramen esquite is pretty much cup of noodles with esquite on top. I like both so I figured it was a good combo. I like it, I would put more seasoning next time but it's good. The ceviche was really good & SPICYYYY!!! The service was good they were nice but it did take long. I would go back to try some other items.“

“Let's just say this place has a 5 star rating for a reason. ALL the tacos are stellar but my favorite is the brisket (sudadero) - it is the most delicious brisket, wow. Tried the quesadilla this past time and it's sooo gooood, pretty large so it will fill you up! And keep in mind it does get to be a bit greasy but if you're in the mood for that, it will 100% satisfy that craving. I also love the workers there, the main woman at the front is always SO nice and attentive :) it's a small place so not great for big groups, but definitely eat inside if you can!! (They bring out chips and salsa for dine-in) ;)“

“I've been looking for a real good Mexican restaurant. This place is very good and ok. I found the tacos to be very good. They were tasty and I enjoyed them. The Enchilada meal was ok. The beans were good, but the enchiladas were just ok. Overall, I think this place is worth going to again. I do recommend.“

“The reviews are right. This place has great tasting food! We got the J*** chicken with rice and peas and plantains. We also got the wings with Rasta Pasta and plantains. Everything was on point and super flavorful. I highly recommend the wings - they are the best thing we got and the best wings you can get. I will say it was a little more expensive than usual but the portion sizes were good and the food tasted great so its worth it. Highly recommend trying this place.“

“They were serving their restaurant week menu on Saturday night when we arrived so we got lucky. Unfortunately the portions were small, but overall the food was good. The enchiladas verdes with chicken was excellent as were the empanadas and shrimp appetizer. The drinks were strong and the service was eager. I don't remember the name of the dessert, but it looked homemade and was a chocolate base with cream and fruit on top. There's a small bar area in the front and a few high tops. If I came back I'd sit there.“

“When they first opened, I ordered a shrimp burrito through UberEats. It was nothing exciting, I didn't even consider reordering. Cut to, a couple years later, a friend and I looking around for something to eat. We decided against literally everything else on Parsons. Looking in their window, he saw they had birria tacos and wanted to try. We usually get tacos from Maya Taco down on Jamaica, but didn't feel like taking the walk. When we went in, the counter woman was wiping down the dining area. When this space was a chicken spot, there was more seating and front room space. Now the dining area consists of a low counter facing the picture window. Maybe they needed more kitchen space. They sell canned soda and Jaritos. They also have fresh lemonade, Jamaica and horchata in counter top juice dispensers. There was no one else inside when we went in, but as soon as we started looking over the menu, so many delivery drivers came in to pick up orders! We got a couple birria, a chorizo, shrimp and a chicken tacos. Everything was ridiculously flavorful. We enjoyed the taste so much that we immediately ran out for a couple more birria. The birria tacos don't come with consommé. Which is odd to me. They do come with a green or red salsa and a guacamole sauce. The guac sauce is completely tasteless. The pepper sauces are savory and spicy but not inedible. Homemade Taqueria has become my go-to spot for tacos. I've also had their beef and chicken empanadas. The chicken was good, beef was a little off. I haven't tried the rest of the menu, but it looks promising.“

“The food is tasty. The service was average although I told the lady that I didn't want any spicy tamale. He kindly told me what he had but didn't warn me about the chicken tamale. I used up a whole soda and couldn't eat it.The other tamales I ordered were very tasty. The atmosphere is not luxurious but it is quiet, table, chair and comfort is what one needs.Recommendation for the premises.- A place to throw garbage and not leave it on the table.- Add another type of accompanying sauce for the tamales, for example the one made with avocado ? (it has different names in various countries), as well as the one made with cilantro and mayonnaise. Sauces attract customers.-Maintain the price, size and portion of ingredients of the tamales, I have noticed them smaller or with little filling.- I haven't been able to try the sweet tamales, on two occasions they haven't had them.“
