“We recently had our daughters baptism dinner at Trattoria L'incontra and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our event was enjoyable and accommodative. Alfredo and his team were extremely friendly and attentive to every detail. During our meal, Chef Rocco came out to ask how everything was and even brought us another pasta course to try on the house. The food was truly exceptional. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better. Overall, I highly recommend Trattoria L'incontra to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The combination of excellent service and delicious food makes it a standout restaurant in the area. I can't wait to go back!“

“Gorgeous space, food was amazing. Would definitely come back to try more items off the menu. This time, I had the opportunity to try the hot mess with prosciutto on top. It was delicious. Went at an odd time between 2-3 so place was very quiet. However, it you can do not miss out if you are in the area and try this place out.“

“Incredible. The "Breakfast Pie" was a good chance to experiment with egg pizza, and the "Classica" is currently the best pizza I've ever had. The Classica is a blend of NY-style and Neapolitan-style pizza with bubbly sourdough crust, fresh basil, and an extra layer of (parmesan?) cheese grated on top.I've made multiple 1 hr+ trips for this pizza. If I were a billionaire, I'd buy an apartment nearby for the sole purpose of going to Pizzeria Panina. I live in existential terror of the passage of time because I know there may be a day when I can no longer have the Classica.Anyways, yeah, it's really good and you should go.“

“My partner and I were blown away by our dinner at Decades. The drinks we had were fabulous, I loved the "In Conclusion." The pizza is the perfect combo of Neopolitan and New York style pizza. I appreciate that they don't skimp on toppings. We had the best caesar salad of our lives. The service was excellent and the place feels very welcoming.“

“King Umberto's is such a wonderful restaurant. The ambiance is fabulous, the food was delicious, and service was excellent. I had dined on the patio around 3 years ago and was in awe when I returned for a dinner party 2 weeks ago. I was transported to an Italian villa! Looking forward to returning again.“

“This is a halal Algerian spot with very authentic food. They have sandwiches and platters and some flavorful side dishes. I had the merguez sandwich and chicken sandwich, and a couple side dishes. The Merguez was amazing, very delicious sausage type dish in a hero roll with fries inside. There's not a lot of seating space so it's a great takeout spot.“

“This and Pizza Sam's the last good pizza places in jackson heights. Pizza Sam is overpriced. This place is a bit overpriced but it's not to bad, they gotta compensate for inflation so i get it. The guy at the counter is great. If u guys read this I got a question. U deliver 10 blocks up to 93rd street? Between roosevelt and elmhurst ave? Thanks“

“This small unpretentious restaurant really punches above its weight. At first it looks like a pizza by the slice joint, then you notice the wood burning oven. When you walk to the back you find a small homey neighborhood dining room. Not fancy, but quiet and clean. Then you read the menu and you realize this is an authentic Italian restaurant. And the food doesn't disappoint. Great pizza and homemade bread, fresh salads and veggies, fantastic pastas with authentic sauces. Only disappointment was that we didn't have time for dessert.“

“I love this place. Their red pepper-oni is amazing. It's slightly spicy and Mike's honey oil drizzled on it was an explosion on my tongue! They even have desserts. I hear the Nutella donut is the best but they were out. They sampled a brisket sanwhich they will offer next week. It was delicious. I might have to fly back!“

“The pizza and topping options are really great however I feel like their oven is inconsistent. Either my pizza is not hot enough or more often than not the bottom is burnt. And it’s not the nice, pizza oven char but the black, leaves and aftertaste in you mouth, burnt.I would be a regular here of the food was consistent.“

“I've lived in NYC for over ten years and this is the best tasting pizza I've found so far. The pizza man there, Ciro makes delicious pizza every time, and, speaking from personal experience, he makes it the way it should be made. Handsome guy too. I recommend you go visit.“

“My son took me here for a birthday dinner after hanging at Rockaway Beach. This was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. The pasta is homemade and delicious. I had a ravioli dish that was finished off with heating in their brick oven. I’d like to rate this restaurant 10 stars!!!!“

“Similar to other Mother Kelly’s this place has a fantastic menu of beer (and ciders and wines if that’s your jam). The game changer is the pizza, it is simply amazing. A whole pizza is MASSIVE although quite a thin crust so manageable between a couple of you. They sell it by the slice too. Had some birthday drinks there recently with a group of people and they went down a treat. Don’t know if they still serve the meat and cheese platters, don’t care - get a pizza.“

“This place is amazing and I recommend that people give this a visit. It's a small restaurant in the Astoria area of Queens. The place is great looking. The staff is amazing and the food is very delicious. The owner of this establishment is from Italy, and he gets all his stuff from Italy. This is definitely worth it.“

“Taglio is my go-to pizza place whenever I am catching a train by the Mineola LIRR station. They serve roman-style pizza which are crispy rectangular slices coming in a variety of styles including a white slice, vodka slice, eggplant slice, and much more. Their options are endless and I am sure that if you visit, they will have something of your liking. For a recommendation, I usually get the Bianco Roman slice and the Melenzane Roman Slice.Other than the fact they serve roman-style pizza, this restaurant is like any other NY pizzeria where you can order your slices and choose to sit in their small seating area or take it to go. The restaurant is clean and the staff is generally nice. There is parking nearby so it should not be an issue.---------PLEASE READ:I am creating a new Pizza Review Series in which I will be rating slices from over 30 different pizzerias in my local area in Nassau County, Long Island. I will use a regular cheese slice as a baseline and a specialty slice as added depth to the review. These rating are solely based on my opinion and taste preference so please do not be offended if one of my ratings does not align with your opinion on the pizza.I am excited to have Taglio as my second review in this series!#2 Taglio PizzaCheese slice: a good slice with a fair amount of cheese and sauce. Crust was a little dry and there was some flop to the slice. I had to throw out the end of the crust because it was hard to finish. Not too greasy and minimal oil drip. Overall, I would rate this slice an 8.2/10.Specialty slice: For my specialty slice, I ordered a Bianco Roman Slice. The slice had a good balance of four different cheeses and I like the fact that the ricotta did not overpower the other cheeses. I also like that they added garlic, which really enhances the flavor of a white slice. I know a lot of places that forget this important step. The crust was very dry though and it felt like I was eating a very crispy piece of ciabatta bread topped with cheese and basil. It was definitely not one cohesive slice. It could be due to the pie possibly sitting out for a while or it was just made like this. I will have to try it fresh next time. Overall, I would rate this slice a 8.3/10.For more ratings please see my Pizza Ratings Collection on my profile.“

“Thank you, for always being there, Brother's Pizzeria. I always stop in when I'm visiting my parents, and enjoy the nostalgia of the place that's been serving the best pizza in the area for over 40 years. This visit, I sat on the same stool I always did when I was a child, and ordered my usual slice with extra cheese. And it was just as I remembered - crispy bottom, holding up the weight of the extra cheese, nice & hot out of the oven - perfection. I also ordered a pie and some beef patties to bring back to California for my family - a new generation of kids who love Brother's. May they continue to do so for 40 more years.“

I love pizza so I've ate at many different pizza joints in many different states as well & I can say Primas hands down has been my favorite. From their plain slices to their specialty slices..especially the Buffalo even their pasta it's top notch. They are amazing!“

“It's pretty hilarious that I'm always across the street from here getting coffee at Coffee factory, and never have I ever tried here until today...Everything here is good.I had the bulgogi quesadilla, Caprese salad, and soy sauce chicken wings (yes, that's a lot for a person, but I'm 6'4" and always hungry) The presentation for each dish is professional and the flavors compliment each other. You have a new frequent customer now ?“

“Amazing ? sauce, which I was told has been their signature contribution to New York City ?, crust is a bit over baked in my opinion..over all great pizza!!! Carry yourself in a respectful manner when visiting, in my experience, ill mannered individuals are not toleranted, I recommend the regular cheese pie, you wouldn't regret it.“

“I visited SeaNY today while visiting the boardwalk and beach for July 4th. The service is excellent here and fast. Our party of 6 ordered different personal pies such as the Bruce, Margherita and pepperoni. I appreciated that this was a wood fire oven pizza kitchen. There are a few menu options if you’re feeling adventurous. I Absolutely adored how friendly the staff was. The boardwalk brings all the vibes. We even got a chance to vibe out to DJ Mouse who spinned all the jams for beach goers.“

“Truly the perfect old school Long Island pizza joint in terms of both food and vibes. You walk in to an inviting slice counter and it only goes up from there.Menu highlights for us included the grandma pie and the baked ziti siciliana with eggplant, which is basically eggplant parm buried in baked ziti. So good. If you want something lighter to start, try the salad slice, which is just what it sounds like. It’s all delicious washed down with a very solid house cabernet.Quick shoutout to our waiter, who was a busboy pulled into duty on a slow holiday weekend Sunday. He didn’t have it all down yet, but he was hustling and cracking wise with the best of them. Overall, could not recommend this place more highly.Dietary restrictions: They are highly considerate of gluten free needs.“

“Since I was a kid I’d get a slice here. Due to unfortunate events in my life I had to switch up my diet so I had to stop eating here. Can you believe I had to settle for boxed pizza?! Had my first fresh slice in years today. I felt like crying a whole ocean. When I tell you the vegan slice reminds me of the regular New York slice, I am not lying to you. Can’t wait to try all their vegan options next time. ❤️“

“As an Astoria native who has been eating in Queens restaurants since Donald Trump was a virgin, I would like to praise Rosario's "The Famous One" Sandwich in the cadence of William Shatner: The. Best. Sandwich. Ever. Anywhere. Huge, tender chicken cutlet draped in prosciutto, layered with mozzarella, topped with cherry peppers. I'm a guy who could eat a whole pie from Frankie's Pizzeria in the 70's, but had to struggle to finish this. Go with a friend, share it, then hoist yourself off your chair to have a lemon ice at LaGuli's, which a New York Times food critic called the best Italian bakery in the outer boroughs. But that's another (five-star) review.“

“Our whole family went in to get a good quick bite to eat at Alfie's based on the reviews. The best rating in the area. Luis was a kind soul, and super accomodating. There were four boths to sit in and eat your pizza or pasta or the garlic knots! Wow. The sauce was so fresh tasting too.It was a real treat going here tonight. I would recommend to anyone looking for great pizza or pasta... The pinwheels were amazing also. The review on here that gives a single star because of the kids and lack of tables and service must have been looking for a high end gourmet fine dining experience. I don't know....our experience was great and Luis was a real New Yorker, hospitality all ovah tha place! God bless you Lois and Alfie's crew. Thanks for a great send off on our trip.“

“If you're from Queens like me or know someone from Queens they will tell you this is the home of the best pizza in Queens. I've been a customer since the days of my youth and no matter where I go I can't help but come to this place and grab my two slices and a large half and half. My children have all eaten here with me as well as my ex wife. We still meet here for a sit down conversation. The interior is still the same today as it was in the 90's. With the ever changing surrounding area it's nice to have a piece of my childhood still around.“

“Last night my husband and I had the best papa john pizza and wings. The whole experience was great! I ordered via the app at 10:38 the approximate delivery time was 36 minutes. We got out pizza at 10:59!! Not only was it an early delivery it was soooo yummy!!. Like I wanted to call and ask who made my pizza and wings. I only want that person making my pizza from now on. That pizza man/woman made it with love. I wish I called and found their name. Hopefully it’s just as yummy the next time we order.“
