“Amazing staff, amazing food (better than my bubbies, but don’t tell her) absolutely loved it!!“
“Beautiful space and friendly staff. We were welcomed by very polite and courteous gentleman and even though we didn’t have a reservation (we didn’t know we needed one) they were able to accommodate us with no hesitation. Giovanni offered us nice drinks and tea along with a delicious shisha. She was very helpful when we had questions about flavors and was very attentive during the time we were there. Will definitely come back. Only thing to note is that if you enjoy a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, try to go on the earlier part of the afternoon/night as it gets louder and feels more like a nightclub later in the evening.Vegetarian options: Dry nuts and French fries“

“TL:DR - great food, cozy space, beverages are hit or miss depends what you get. 4 stars. David the barista is great! 58th st location.Details:Service 5/5 - shoutout to David for the exceptional customer service. super cramped in here but it's kind of cozy. They have wifi but it's super intimately spaced and I feel like I'm going to break my neck on those stairs, this place is short people friendly.Food: tastiest chicken Empanada I've had in awhile that isn't from the Criollos chain. It was juicy without being wet and flavorful. Wepa!!!!Drinks: my buddy got the Tres Leche and I had fomo because that thing was GOOOD. Drank half of hers lol. I got an iced Coquito latte because I'm a sweaty human even in winter and it helped regulate my temp but the taste was just OK. Her drink was hot and I was happy to sweat for it.Note: the iced drinks come in those clear bags with a straw like when Covid started allowing people to drink out of plastic bags from bars. We went to pick her kid up from tennis and I looked like an unhinged day drinker trying to relive spring break.Misc: Stopped by with a buddy to wait for tennis to let out over on 1st ave. Got a chicken Empanada, a Tres leche coffee and a coquito *flavored* latte. ( they have actual spirit infused stuff but i didn't get that).“

“This is simply a world-class restaurant. The food here is superb. The hospitality is the best I've experienced in the city in years, and possibly ever. Dennis et al, offer unparalleled service in a warm and unstuffy manner. The $75 price fix at lunch is easily the best value in town. “

“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“

“small coffee shop with really great coffee, however there really isn't much space to sit. it's connected to a small lobby of some sort next door with a few benches. But if you were looking for takeout coffee then I definitely recommend the place. I got an iced oat latte and it was super smooth and creamy. The matcha taro latte was also really good, also very pretty. I also tried out their pastel de nata which was pretty ok, I think there are better ones but it hits the spot“

He is extremely welcoming and supportive, and guided us through cooking a 5-course meal in teams. “My daughter, my child always finds the best places to take her mama to. And babeee these donuts along with the customer service were definitely a win for me. I am vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian ;) and I chose from the vegan section and when I tell you the pumpkin glaze donut and the vegan plain donut warmed up for less than 50 seconds in a microwave were the best thing my hour glass figure didn’t need, I am not lying. These donuts were simply delicious, so delicious imma get the heck outta the city and not come back to it for atleast 2 years. lol. There isn’t anyway I can always have these donuts at my finger tips. But hands down this is a must try and definitely recommended establishment one has to visit any time in the New York area! Now, off to the gym, omg!“

“Creativity, warmth, and culture vibrates through the 787 café. As a Puerto Rican, I feel right at home in this space. The baristas were kind, attentive and welcoming. They also shared the origins of the coffee, which provided a nice touch to the experience. A special shout-out to Lesly who served me and was a pleasure to talk to. “Pastries by Anne is one of our favorite shops in the neighborhood. You can count on Anne to always greet you with a smile and to have unique and inventive flavors available. I’m a huge fan of both the Thai iced tea cake and the Triple C. She’s also made cakes for our celebrations, which our guests devoured. We are so lucky to live close to such an incredible pastry shop and Anne herself is the absolute best!“

“Everything about Lysée feels crafted thoughtfully and delicately -- from the space itself, to its tableware and desserts -- the visuals were just stunning on another level. We came with reservation and were seated in a private little alcove which felt so cute and special, and the service was excellent. I loved the unique combinations of flavors inspired from Korean cuisine. Among what we ordered, I most enjoyed the apple yuja tart and the sweet potato latte, but everything was delicious and beautifully presented! Can't wait to come back and try their other desserts. Recommend coming with others so you can share and try various menu items!“

“This is the first time I stopped in the cafe for just a Horchata Latte but the café mixologist who was knowledgeable about the bean recommended a Rum infused with notes of cinnamon and dark chocolate - non alcoholic of course. The first sip had a robust favor of horchata but a mild hint of rum infusion. I recommend any coffee lover to stop by for a cup of exquisite hot or cold coffee beans flown in directly from Puerto Rico!“

“We stumbled upon this coffee shop and in the Bronx and had to have our second hit of coffee. This cute shop imports coffee directly from Puerto Rico ?? so we knew it was gonna be bomb! The best part was that the coffee comes in a to go pouch and a straw. We order the horchata ice coffee and they also have a whiskey infused option as well that was strong and less sweet in case you don’t like it too sweet. Aesthetically the place was so cute. Check out the vibes in the photos and videos.“

“Wow!!!! This place is incredible. Their coffee and pastries are top tier, but what moved me to write this review was actually the hospitality and friendly service. I spilled my coffee trying to put on the lid at the little counter, and they were out so fast with towels and had a new drink made for me (so nice and totally unnecessary) within seconds. They were really nice about my self-inflicted mortifying moment and even gave me a pain au chocolate too. I think they embody the true spirit of hospitality and community here. Very impressed.“

“I was blown away by these bagels. First off, the service was wonderful. They were kind and patient with us.We got to sample all the fillings we wanted, I got a rainbow bagel with half regular cream cheese and half cucumber dill- amazing. I also got a toasted French toast bagel with butter and I was audibly surprised, I was expecting it to be tasty, but not THAT insanely delicious. So so SO glad I came here. They also have baby seats, which is hard to find in this city. 10/10 will come againKid-friendliness: Had baby seats and interacted with my baby- much appreciated.“

“Me and my family head to Chinatown in NYC as often as we can. And we visit every Chinatown in all the cities we go to that has a Chinatown (or little Italy, etc)in it. It’s a thing we as a family do.This little hidden gem in Chinatown in NYC is nice. It looks like a sterile cafeteria inside. It is off of Main Street and the sign that says “Best Sponge cake in NYC”. If it wasn’t for the sign you would sure miss this place. The sponge cakes sell for $1.25. Their menus change daily and if your lucky you might get to purchase the cinnamon and the chocolate cookies. They have a surprisingly pop of flavor.“

“Wow! This is a little hidden gem. This is probably the best coffee I've ever had in NYC. Doesn't taste burnt at all like most other places and it has a nutty aftertaste. Really delicious - doesn't even need syrup flavors. The chocolate chip cookie is divine and tastes homemade! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall. It's tiny inside but there are a few tables / stool seats by the window. It's a great spot to bring a book and people watch. They have a bunch of other pastries that look delicious as well and I'm excited to try them all! This spot is just steps from the L train at Grand St. Don't miss it!
