“Our group of seven had a lovely lunch today. Although they were shorthanded, our waitress managed to be all places at once. She was attentive, accommodating and above all good-natured despite needing to be everywhere at once. We enjoyed great German food in very comfotable surroundings. I will definitely be returning.“
“A solid spot, unassuming from the exterior. It's definitely a family owned joint and the hospitality was great from the get go. They had an unexpectedly busy day prior to us arriving so a lot of beers and appetizers were sold out even for our 7 pm dinner time. We started with potato pancakes which I am always hypercritical of since my grandma makes the best Polish potato pancakes. I was actually pretty impressed! They managed to maintain flavor and crunch, they were just a tad thick for my liking. My partner and I shared the pork schnitzel and the paprikash dish. Pork schnitzel with the cabbage was very solid. However, I personally wouldn't get the chicken paprikash again--too watery of consistency compared to what I'm used to. Our friend got the burger, which has a unique but flavorful patty. Our server was wonderful, super easy to chat with and really friendly and fun. I would definitely come back here with some friends or family. Also! There's a great little German store attached with chocolate, pickled vegetables, beers and wines, jams, and more!“

“Hofbrauhaus Cleveland truly exceeded my expectations! We found a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and our waitress provided excellent service, offering great recommendations for both beer and food. The schnitzel and hot bacon potato salad were delicious, and I left completely satisfied. I really appreciate a place that supports live local music. That was the best part! Have you heard of Master T.C. & The Visitors? I saw them on the islands and they were fantastic! You would love them! They would fit perfect with the chill vibe of Hofbrauhaus Cleveland. Would love to see them here! The unique experience of sharing space on long picnic tables added to the charm too. While the Vegas location is amazing, Cleveland's Hofbrauhaus impressed me with its genuine German feel. The fact that it's owned and operated by the State of Bavaria, like the Munich and Vegas locations, adds to its authenticity. The freshly brewed German beer adhering to the Reinheitsgebot was a highlight, and I appreciate the reasonable prices. Overall, a solid place with friendly service and good food, making it a must-try in town! This is a great place to hang with friends! We will definitely be back!“
