“Mother's Day outing with my better half, took us to Bloomers at Bayview Village. We got there at 10am, to our surprise no doughnuts were available, as the delivery truck hit traffic/construction. HOWEVER, the wait was well worth it. She couldn't stop eating these delicious doughnuts. At 11am the doughnuts arrived, the lady behind the counter was a super hero, as she handled all the impatient pre-orders, uber and skip orders. The doughnuts are worth every penny spent.“

We both had lux and cream cheese sandwiches, along with a cherry danish and I even had a caramilk milkshake for the very first time! The service counter is at the back of the cafe.I went on Mother's Day weekend where they had a buy one get one free event for croissants which was a great deal! I purchased the chocolate /coffee filled croissant and the white chocolate croissant. These Japanese croissants are a bit crispier and smaller than French style croissants.The staff were very friendly and packed the croissants with care. Overall for the two for one deal it was a great buy. Croissants usually start at $5.25 (plus tax). They also have a loyalty program. For the best bang for your buck, certainty join and receive a free coffee with your first 100 point purchase.They are also branching out into daan go pastries, however, selection is currently limited. (pokeball macarons only $4.75 each)I will definitely be returning but it is a "treat yourself" location for me.Parking: Best access to parking is in the 4 story parking garage as street parking is limited and hard to come by (lots of handicap spots on the street though!)“

“Columbus Bakery has always been my comfort food place since I came from Colombia 15 years ago.I always find great baked goods when feeling homesick. My favourite are pasteles de pollo, empanadas de queso, pandequesos and almohabanas.The staff is always corteous and friendly. It feels amazing to speak with people from back home.Unfortunately, the dining-in space is very limited. The coffee is not that great considering that it is a Colombian coffee shop.Vegetarian options: You can find vegetarian options and gluten-free friendly items.Dietary restrictions: Although there are gluten-free friendly baked goods, there's still a risk of cross-contamination if you have a wheat allergy or suffer from Celiac Disease.“

They messed up my online order and didn’t pass on the message to the store on time for a specific date cake order for my kids birthday. I ordered cakes for Oct 21 to be picked up. I went to the bakery and was told that they don’t have the cakes. I called and emailed the head office and they said they are small business and mistakes happen. That was the lamest excuse! Mistakes happen but they didn’t even try to fix the issue. Just saying “we are sorry, it happened, we are small business and mistakes happen” is not the right reply at all. If a communication didn’t happen between head office and the store, that is not customers fault. Running around, trying to find alternative solution, and buying another flavored cake was the worst experience celebrating my kids special day. I wasted my time, energy and money on finding cakes, I had to go back to the bakery on the same day at 9pm. The fact that they just wanted me to forget and let the problem go by really frustrated me. They said they tried to make it work, but I don’t think they even tried and think of customers perspective. I needed those 2 cakes on that day, and I placed the order 3 weeks in advance for a reason. I will most likely not order from them again and will pass my awful customer experience to my friends and family. Very irresponsible and unreasonable. Simply didn’t care. They ignored all my emails.“

“Visited my aunt in Toronto and she took us to Harina Bakery , bought some freshly baked hopia baboy and ube. It’s the best hopias I ever had . Before heading back to NJ . We went to buy more to bring home and the lady said we don’t need to refrigerate or freeze it as long as it is kept in airtight container she was absolutely right, I wish Canada is like 2 to 3 hours drive and will be going back at least once a month for supply ♥️“
