“I had a wonderful meal and would definitely recommend anyone that enjoys hotpot or spicy food to pay this location a visit! The food was delicious, the service was kind and attentive, and restaurant was clean and pleasant to eat in.We got the beef skewer set in slightly spicy chicken broth and added a variety of vegetables as well as tofu, chicken, and other skewers. The hotpot was delicious and stayed hot because of the tasty broth. The beef skewers were my favorite item as they came to me juicy, tender and perfectly cooked.Do not sleep on the appetizers and other dishes here because their other dishes are just as good! The smashed cucumber salad was a refreshing compliment to a spicy meal and is a must-order. The dandan noodles were comforting and had plenty of kick. The crispy chicken breasts had a nice light batter that had a pleasant crunch and did not overwhelm the chicken. If you are sensitive to spice, be sure to order the less spicy options as this place does not hold back! Also, get a refreshing drink like the peach slush to cool you off between bites.“

“Beef and mutton skewers and potato slices, the cabbage skewers are particularly delicious and go well with rice. The sauce-flavored boiled pork slices are super friendly to people who don’t like spicy food! Beef and lamb kebabs and potato chip kebabs, cabbage kebabs are especially good and super filling, and the soy flavored boiled beef slices are super friendly to those who don't eat spicy food!“

“Our dining experience at Mr. Fish surpassed our expectations. The House Sauerkraut Soup was brimming with rich, intense flavors and was served in a very generous portion. The Spicy BBQ Basa fish dish stands out as the best fish dish I've had in a long while. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's sure to impress.“

“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.“

“Here's the pro move - they have the best stir fried noodle dish in the city - Bokkeum Jjampoong - gotta order extra noodles if sharing. We also ordered their Black-bean-sauce rice which comes with a deep fried omelette and a side bowl of their delicious Jjamppong soup.“

“The skin is thin, the bottom is crispy, the meat is firm and juicy, and it is one of the best pan-fried dishes in Toronto. It’s also far better than Shanghai’s greasy Xiaoyang Shengjian. However, the pan-fried buns in this store are outstanding, and other foods need to be improved. The old duck soup is not good, and the garlic bones are not up to standard. The recently released pork ribs and rice cakes are not that good. The noodles with scallion oil should be liberalized, and the shepherd's purse wontons are okay. Can.“

“Great al dente noodles, fresh, hand pulled in the store. Very attentive service. I liked the little bonuses - a basket to hold your jacket and bags; a bib to avoid splashing my clothes. About 8 tables. Clean washrooms. GreenP street parking.“

“Amazing dining experience. The owner is very cultured, very friendly, loves life, and pays very close attention to details. It is rare to find a Chinese restaurant that really cooks well these days, but this place does. Even typical North American Chinese food like sweet and sour chicken is next level here because they really care about what they are serving, and the chefs in the back are real chefs. The owner will chat with you if you get him started. Pay close attention to the decoration in the dining room and the bathrooms; very little detail is carefully thought out and has meanings behind them.It is always great to support small businesses too.“

“Delicious food! I had the halal braised beef noodle soup. The place is halal certified which is amazing. The bowl was so large. Very filling. Fast and professional service. I was so full and very happy after a meal here. Planning to definitely come back and inshaAllah also visit other locations around GTA!Dietary restrictions: Halal“

“Great Friday night dinner at this cozy restaurant that combines Chinese BBQ dishes and relaxing vibe with 90’s songs playing in the background. The skewers are well seasoned and cooked. Service was quick and friendly. The owner also serves dishes and makes sure everything is going well. The scallops were really tasty. I also liked the skewers although I wish they came a little hotter and sizzling. The wiener we ordered came lukewarm in the center which was not so perfect. Haven’t had a chance to try their drinks but I’m interested in their beer sangria.Their recent shift away from the tipping system is a welcoming gesture. Despite the lack of tips, I find their service superior to other Chinese BBQ places that would penny pinch customers for tips. Keep it up, and you have my support. Will be back again.“

“We've tried many skewer places and this was my favorite. Great selection, quality, vibes. My only complaint is that the clam dish was really disappointing - most had empty shells and the meat was missing. The spicy fish was good but don't think it was worth the price.“

“Chengdu style BBQ restaurant with a bright red interior decor. We came here for lunch on the weekend, there is free parking.Note that they ask you for a 5 star Google review in exchange for free chicken skin skewers.Menu and ordering is thru the QR code. We got the fried lotus root (like chips), sizzling tofu, Orleans chicken wings, chicken skin, shrimp skewers, pork rib skewers, frog leg skewers, and stir fried noodles. My only complaint is that the shrimp were not cleaned. In general, the food is oily/heavy and flavourful. There are complimentary pickles and peanuts.Be careful because some of the options can be spicy! You can specify spice when you orderPrices are reasonable. There was only one washroom available when I wentService is quick.“

“The dim sum standards here are very tasty. My favourite was the siu mai - good size and flavourful. Came for a special occasion and everyone loved it.My only gripe was that we were charged $2.50 per person for tea. Otherwise, I recommend the dim sum here!“

“Next to our school in Oxford, I come here to eat every day. My favorites are tomato rice noodles, stir-fried yellow beef and wolf-toothed potatoes. The tomato soup is very rich and the beef is very tender. I really want to eat the wolf-toothed potatoes once.“

“For those with memories of HK life, the food at this place is nostalgic. That said, while all the dishes, desserts and drinks for tasty, you go there to reminisce mostly and the flavors secondarily. The most stunning dish was the ramen not ramen dessert. It's your basic red bean, grass jelly, tapioca & pudding dessert that looks like art. We had 2 main dishes: a pasta stuffed, cheese topped bread loaf that easily fed 2+ people, and a Laksa-like noodle. HK imitation dishes taste good but never as good as the authentic stuff. Kudos for having a pretty large and interesting menu. Lots of HK references in their brightly decorated dining space. Service was friendly and our party of 4 left stuffed for under $100 CDN$.“

“Roasted duck is a must! I tried numerous restaurants for the peking duck but J&Y’s impressed me a lot. Deep fried salt and pepper duck is the best way to deal with the leftovers. Just one thing I didn’t like - they didn’t provide enough bread but charged me $6 for extra bread.“

“I didn't find anything special. Although I ordered the soup pot to be mildly spicy, it had no spice flavor at all, which didn't help to stimulate my appetite. The food was self-service; you just select it and then it's prepared in the kitchen before being added to the pot. I pretty much took a bit of everything except for the red meat, but none of them absorbed the flavor of the soup. The pork and chicken pieces were pan-fried, which tasted pretty good, but I didn't take much of those, so it wasn't enough to improve my overall impression.“
“I had the pleasure of ordering food from Steve. I ordered a 1/2 tray of chicken and noodles. We got to talking about the reason for me needing this food last minute. My mom had just had a shoulder replacement and we were celebrating the success of the surgery. He was really diligent and sympathetic. I was amazed that i was able to order this food and it was ready in 15 minutes. I've been coming to this restaurant for more than 20 years and the food is as I remember it in high-schoolsl. If you choose a business to support, this one is family owned and delicious. My moms doing great! Thank you for making looking after her just that much easier.“

“Look at these GIANT noodle bowls!!! You can build and customize your own too; it's really fun to choose which noodles, meat, broth and toppings go into it! Completely personalized to your liking. If you haven't been to a malatang place before, you essentially grab the silver bowl and tongs and pick what you want. I like the wide and thin noodles but also wanted to try the ube ones today. Honestly the ube ones just taste like the normal rice noodles but prettier! Then choose which veggies you want. I like lotus root, bok choy, corn, and another one I don't remember the name of. It's green and usually comes in slices and is slightly translucent. Anyone know what I'm talking about??? As for meats, I get beef and fill up on fish balls. There's so many different types and shapes, many have filling in it too! Quail eggs are a must for me and I get lots of seafood (squid, mussels). I loveeee me some good tripe too. They'll charge you by weight ($3/100g) so be cognizant of that! The heavier the items and more food you get, the more expensive that is. But that means if you are strategic it can be quite cheap! Choose your broth and spice level and they'll make it for you. I highly recommend not going above "little spicy" unless you have gone before and know that you can tolerate it. Their spice levels are higher than other types of food places so proceed with CAUTION! It's the numbing spice so you won't feel it right away but it'll build, and next thing you know you are sweating (and maybe crying). I was honestly a little shocked how big my bowl were and intimidated when I realized there was no way I could finish it. They had fried durian balls and lava shrimp balls which I really wanted to try but weren't available. Fingers crossed they'll be there the next time I go“

“Came across this place while looking up new places to eat on Google Maps to decide what to eat for lunch.Ordered the spicy crispy chicken burger and some drinks (lemonade and the sour plum juice I think? Wanted to try it but forgot what it was called now). Food and drinks were good, price was reasonable. There were multiple delivery orders ahead of me but my order didn't seem to take very long, maybe about 10 mins. This restaurant only does takeout, there weren't any seats inside. The burger was big and very filling, pleasantly surprised. The burger is simple, well fried, delicious - doesn't get any better than that. The drinks really complements the chicken that is very crispy on the outside but also very tender and juicy on the inside. The pork items looked good too so I will come back again to try that“

“Good priced food for what you get! The lady who works there is always very nice. I usually order the fried rice noodle with beef, and it literally tastes the same as other places but at a good price (my suggestion though would be to ask for more sauce in this dish). This place is more like a grab' n go spot would not take a date here but love eating here alone or when I need a quick bite!“

“HIGHLY recommend!Found this hidden gem by chance while looking for somewhere nearby to study, and I am very happy to have found this spot.Had their daily lunch special (Salt + Pepper fish/veggies/rice) and their iced cappuccino. Their salt + pepper fish was sooo flavourful and CRSIPY! As for their ice cappuccino, it was creamy and less sugary than the Tim Hortons version (IN A GOOD WAY! Got the caffeine I needed to study).Owner and customers are so friendly.“

“This is my favourite hotpot place. I love the soup based and the sauce options here. The meat usually is great quality and they have a pretty decent selection of stuff. Overall delicious!I really hope they take this feedback into consideration but the condensation/humidity is pretty horrible during busy hours and makes it really uncomfortable. You can tell immediately when you enter because all the windows and glass are fogged up permanently. I think having a ventilation system that is more efficient may help the dining experience feel much better.“

“Used to go there a lot because it’s nearby where I used to live. Very nice older age lady who package my food. Always friendly and cares about customers. The price are reasonable. Steam buns and tofu curd are my favourite dishes, especially green bean pork and pork shrimp eggs buns. And also, the chilli oil is so delicious. Although I already moved away from that area but I will still come back sometimes for this place..definitely recommend.“
“?Pan Pan Noodle Bar offers a great deal with a bowl, a side, and a drink for under $16! ?Their signature dish is the pan-fried noodles, but my personal favorite is their burning noodles. You can choose your own toppings? and spice level—I recommend the braised tofu, minced pork, and beef brisket, which are surprisingly tender and juicy.Other must-tries include ?the beef skewers (tender and meaty with a slight fatty taste), the saliva chicken (spicy but not overwhelming) and the crispy and juicy chicken cartilage!Thankyou? @panpan_noodle_bar? @innisophotos? “I popped into this spot randomly and was tempted by their pork mooncakes. It was my first time trying them and they were so good! The pastry is flaky, sort of like an egg tart crust and they were generously filled with pork. It was nicely seasoned and tender. I actually ate them at home the day after I bought them. I followed the reheating instructions on the box and they came out perfect.I also got some of their frozen pork wontons to cook at home and they were great too! It reminds me of the ones my mom makes. Not sure if it was the owner, but the lady at the counter was so friendly and welcoming too.I will have to come back and try their baos and shumai!“

“They serve authentic Chinese food, therefore i felt their target audience is not population trying Chinese food for fun. If you already have in your mind what exactly you would want to eat then that would be better. Even then the servers were kind enough to help us select from the menu. “Service was prompt. The menu was clear and straightforward. The food came quite quickly. Asks for condiments et Al delivered quickly.Atmosphere is bright clean and to the point.Food was good. Flavours were all there. Some noodle dishes were not completely tossed probably due to the speed of service. What really made it for me was the price. Large family gathering filling 3 large tables for under $400 cash (no alcohol).“

“An ideal venue for a late dinner or even a solo late night snack! The interior is clean and well-lit. As a Chinese "dumpling house", their specialty includes wonton and dumplings, but they also serve skewers, noodles, scallion pancakes, and more. The ones I tried were all priced fairly, served fresh, and very warming!“

“It’s pretty hard not to find this place. It takes up a huge portion of the buildings facade with its dull blue colour. When you go inside it is very different. Not as big as you would expect and they went cheap on the interior design. The food on the other hand is not bad. The prices of their dishes look high on the menu but the dishes are pretty big portions. The dishes taste good. The reason why I’m giving them 4 stars is that it took them forever to bring us a simple vegetable dish and our rice.Maybe next time I’ll just Uber eats from them and avoid the disappointing dine in experience.“

“Very deliciousYou have to wait 20 minutes to grill the fish, but it’s worth itRecommended: lychee grilled fish, durian scones, Langya potatoesThis Langya potato is really delicious. It's not raw, it's pink and glutinous. The lychee grilled fish sounds weird, but it tastes like fish-flavored grilled fish. The fish is Qingjiang fish, which has no fishy smell and is very fragrant, although it is not very tender. But it’s still rare to have a grilled fish festival in TorontoSteamed Pork Ribs: It’s also quite delicious, but I can’t get used to it because of my eating habits. It feels a bit strange.Mixed bean sprouts: very light and refreshingDurian scone: delicious, especially delicious. The cheese and durian are so abundant that it’s hard to eat even if you want to eat it.Overall, the food is not big and tastes good. You can try more things.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Just askParking: Plenty of parking lots at the door“
