“This is a typical authentic Chinese restaurant. The menu is extensive. Many set menu deal with many good choice you can make. The pricing was excellent, fit my pocket book during this time when everything is expensive. The food was excellent and service was good. It was not too busy, so we can sit and chit chat a little longer after dinner. Will definitely return.“

“Thank you so much for a fantastic Easter Buffet. The food was all delicious & the service was outstanding. There was certainly a great & varied selection of foods although not many cooked vegetables. We only noticed one vegetable side dish: heritage carrots. We were at the 1:30 seating so maybe there was more variety earlier. The salads that I tried were all excellent, esp. the beet salad, but I had to ask where the salads were. We would probably never have found The Salad Room on our own & I think others had the same problem. The whole lobsters were an unexpected, but very enjoyable treat & we even received 3 for both of us! ?“

“Met the owner of this establishment. He was super friendly and came to our table to talk about his trip to Australia. He also explained that dimsum is not their main feature or attraction. It's their dinner menu that brings the crowd. We came for the dimsum during lunch hours so we'll have to come back for dinner. As for the dimsum, all the dishes tasted like they were freshly made. They came out fresh and hot. And they were all good, I couldn't decide on a favourite. Ok, that's a lie, the black egg custard buns were my favourite. But being a dessert gives it an unfair advantage when it comes to someone like me, who loves dessert. Servers were friendly and really on top of things like clearing empty dishes and topping up tea as well as bringing our food in a timely manner. The restaurant may look crowded at first but once I was seated the crowd seemed as if they disappeared and were not a distraction in any way. It's like our table and guests were in a world of their own. Allowing us to have great food and good conversations. The reason I took so long to write a review was a selfish one. I thought about keeping this gem to ourselves. Hehe...so if you are reading this review consider yourself lucky and come experience this restaurant for yourself.“

“The plaza this restaurant is located in is a bit rundown. The restaurant itself is brightly lit and seems vibrant enough. On a Monday night before six, the place was already about half full. Only 2 servers but the service was fine and both servers were very friendly.The food was good, portions were good size and pretty good value. I also noticed that they have quite a few set meals to choose from. Good choice for a low-key Cantonese meal.“
