“I had the honor of visiting this hidden gem this past weekend. The quaint shop was very clean. The decor was pretty and inviting, and the staff was super friendly. Their menu had a variety of options to satisfy any palate from the savory to sweet. My favorite was a sweet cake with homemade organic whipped cream and strawberries. Delicious!!! This is definately a must visit when your in the Jim Thorpe area!”

“My wife and I stopped in for late lunch. The menu is very interesting- great variety. My wife ordered the kim chi fried rice and I ordered the pork pastrami sandwich. For an appetizer, we ordered the 1-lb chicken wings (garlic parmesan). The kim chi had a nice kick but still very tasty. My pork pastrami was even better than a regular pastrami- pork was lean, tender and very flavorful. The wings were huge and very juicy and tasty. We had enough for leftovers! Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and regularly checked on us. I'm so glad we were able to stop in. We walked to try it 2 years ago when we were here but it was packed. Well worth the stop!”

“Small menu plus small portions for the price. Ordered fish and fries we got two pieces of frozen fish and a hand full of fries for $8.99. We had to go somewhere else to have a meal. Never going back it isn't Suzie's.”

“Strange....this little side of the road diner had one of the best steak sandwiches I've ever had!?!?!? I added Provolone cheese. I also had sweet and hot peppers, sauce, onions and pickles. The roll held up well. I also had a side order of Pierogies. My Husband had a cheese steak as well. He got fries with his. So so so good. The waitress was very good. It is very far from my house but I would consider driving the 45 mins to get another cheese steak.”

The fried rice is brilliant and hits all the right spots and hits that authenticity itch. The chicken is well breaded but not overly so and the sauce is really well balanced.”

Took up the whole plate and the flavor was fantastic. My wife had the vegetable omelet. Again huge and full of peppers, onion, mushrooms and tomato. Add to this the best homefries I have had in a diner in a long long time. Needless to say we will be making this a regular stop.”
