“Had a great pulled pork sandwich. first time customer.. odd though? I watched one of the employees young teenage boy blonde hair pour from a pitcher of water into the fry grease and then turn around and lie to the manager and say he did it by accident when the grease began to boil.? better watch that type of employee close.. he'll either end up burning the place down or taint someone's food.. he laughed thought it was funny and played it off but I watched him with my own eyes do it on purpose.. check your cameras..“

“My family went here for a late lunch Sunday. we had a salad with turkey, smoked chicken and ribs. So little bit of everything I would say. Food was good, the chicken was juicy and the ribs were tender. The banana pudding was just ok but not bad if you know what I mean. So the cons and none of it really horrible there was a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk. That was very bad sign of the times unfortunately. Also, I get wanting to be comfortable at work but one of the staff looked as if she rolled right out of bed for work and didn’t bother to wear a bra. I am sorry but if you are a bit more blessed in that area at least put on a tank top under your thin shirt because the nips were on full display. My husband and my teen son both noticed. It was just a bit much. So as I said nothing too horrible and nothing to do with the food as it was good, serving size was decent for the price.“

“I love this hidden gem!! I've been here twice now and nothing has disappointed in any way. The staff are friendly and helpful, the wait time isn't too long, and the food is cooked to perfection. The only drawback is how it's a little pricey, but it's 100% worth it for the melt-in-your-mouth flavor and the satisfying serving sizes :)))“

“This restaurant is great. You order at the counter and the food is usually ready by the time you get to the end of the line, or it's brought out shortly. The staff is friendly, though it's helpful to know what you want to order before getting up to the counter to keep things moving.“

“Don't be remiss about stopping here for a very good bite to eat. I had to pull pork plate with a slice of bread and a double dip of potato salad. The meat is smoked and you add the choice of three sauces. The place is clean on the inside, the workers are pleasant and there's plenty of room to sit. Take a break enjoy a good meal and relax. Don't let the outside the building tell you what you need to know about what's on the inside. First time I ever been in a place with 20 men and I'm the only woman. Mostly workers that I could tell, and everybody had a big plate of food. When I'm back this way I'll surely stop, because I want to say hello and talk to John again good man.Parking: It is a spacious parking lot with extended parking all the way to the road. You could fit a football field in this area. So don't worry about whether you have a car a truck or a semi it all fits.Kid-friendliness: Everyone is friendly here and I felt safe. “I'm a local and try to eat there at least once a week! I have enjoyed everything I have had there, ribs, BBQ chicken, pork tenderloin, and brisket, but my favorite is their pulled pork BBQ plate with greenbeans and cole slaw, the best ever! But other favorites are the Brunswick stew, sweet potato crunch and their potato salad! And do not miss the Hush Puppies!!! I have never been disappointed with the food or the service!!!“

“First time there was today. Actually I was fueling my truck up, and just happen to see it beside the store. Never will forget the two young ladies who were sisters. Hoping I get another load that way soon, I'm definitely stopping again.“

“I ordered the beef hash over rice with fried okra, macaroni pie, and hush puppies. The beef hash has a really good flavor. It is a little on the salty side, but I still thought it was really good. I would liked to have had more rice to go with it. They put way more hash than rice. The macaroni pie was so good! The fried okra was good and so were the hush puppies. Their sweet tea is truly sweet tea! You do get a lot of food for the price. Great place to eat!​“

“I never walked in a restaurant and felt unwelcomed by a waitress until today at smoking butt heads. I felt like I was a big inconvenience in her day because I was the only one at my table and I didn't have anymore people with me. I really enjoyed the food. I got a brisket sandwich and fries. But the service was bad because I felt unwelcomed.“

“Food is good and our waitress was really nice and helpful but what sets this place off os honestly the atmosphere. Very relaxed and the design is really great! Definitely a head turner once you sit down and look around. Overall will be back and highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian but the dishes are clearly labeled and sounded great! “Food taste as good as it did 30+ years ago. This was my first time eating here in 15 + years, and it had the same service and taste as it did as it did when I was with my grandparents. It brought back a lot of memories. Still an amazing Fish Camp as we have always called it! You have to try the onion rings! They are awesome!! And the seafood platter can feed two people!! Easily!!Dietary restrictions: I mean it is a Fish Camp. There are salad and grilled options. But lets be honest... we go to get amazing fried seafood and hush puppies, not watch our weight. It is a great cheat meal..?Kid-friendliness: It is loud enough in here, that you can not tell the kids from the adults!! LOL. Plenty of seating room for kids to be able to wiggle and enjoy the good food as well!!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible to wheelchairs and walkers! ??“

The homemade fries are also a must taste.Get the brisket as it's absolutely delicious. Chopped chicken available for lighter fare. Homemade sauces of all types. I like mixing the mild and hot. My husband likes the moonshine. Try them all!There is usually a homemade dessert to choose from such as banana pudding or peach cobbler. You can't go wrong with either one.Stop in and give it a try.Parking: There is plenty f parking right in front of the restaurant and it is an easy short one step into the sidewalk into restaurant.“
