“As one of the few true chai enjoyers and connoisseurs, I rate this chai one of the best in Waco that I have tried so far. It's a little milky and the flavor is a bit distant, but it beats any Starbucks around. The staff were kind and the ambiance gives the industrial yet barn life vibe that downtown Waco brings.”

“What an awesome place to stop for a meal while in Waco! The food, service and atmosphere is absolutely amazing! I had the Texas Philly Cheese steak sandwich (added bacon)and my wife had the Texas Chicken Cheese steak sandwich and both had Sweet-potato fries (which were wonderful).”

The white wine tasting was perfect and a great experience of different Spanish and Portuguese wines. 10/10 would come back and will be back! “This hole in the wall, has amazingly food, and fabulous service. I believe the same family has owed and ran it for over 100 year. Small yes…I think a few booths and the counter with bar stools to eat at. Don’t be in Waco, near vtecks and not give it a try. They close early 3:30 on Saturday!”

“These cookies are beyond description, but I’ll try. They are perfectly crispy on the outside with amazing half-baked chewiness inside. The flavors are really out there. I find myself waiting for Sunday nights just to see the new menu for the week. I’m a little afraid to think about how many Crumbl calories I’ve consumed, but every calorie is well worth the extra exercise!”

“Absolutely phenomenal. I got the katsu fried chicken with curry sauce and it was quite a large portion, super fresh, and so yummy. Mac salad was delicious and the spam musubi was my favorite. I only have Hawaiian Bros to compare to and L & L is definitely superior. 10/10”

“I've had the privilege of dining at Oak and Ivy on a couple of occasions, and both were fantastic experiences. The latest was a party celebrating my wife and it could not have gone any better. Josh was accommodating from the very beginning and helped create an environment that was such a joy for everyone involved. His entire staff was professional and kind, and the food was amazing. I highly recommend Oak and Ivy for a date night or as a venue.”

“What a wonderful surprise! Don’t let the neighborhood keep you away. I had the gyro plate and the meat was so tender I cut it with my plastic fork…like butter. It was delicious. The hummus was great as well as the chicken kabob. I especially loved that it is family owned and run. A very special place. We will be back.”

“LOVE the freshness of every dish! I went to this location in Waco and to my surprise it was beautiful. The other location was in Georgetown (nice location as well). However, it’s never a good feeling when dining in the restaurant. I went 2x in the same day just to see the difference between the day and night staff. Both times I sat at the bar, and the service was good. As I approached the door to enter a man a woman walked right in front of me and the man let the door close in my face! I’m so sick of people being rude, it makes me not want to spend my money in the establishment. Although they can’t control others behaviors, it just sucks!”
