“This is one of the best burgers I've had in awhile!!! Sooooo happy I found a awesome burger joint. The meat is perfectly cooked and they seasoned the burger!!!! Seasoned so good. I got a burger (double meat) French fries and a drink for like $11. Overall......amazing. And the nice lady brought my food out to my car.”

“Good service. Catfish was ok. Tartar sauce wasn't my favorite. Nice atmosphere. Easy to get in and out for older people. Not many desserts left on Saturday evening.”

“10/10 pizza. We visited Gatesville for the Solar Eclipse and there aren't many food options in the town. There are some corporate pizza stores and all but we would rather support a family owned business. STUDEBAKERS PIZZA is by far the best pizza I've had, ever. I highly recommend it if you are in or near the area.”

“The owner came and talked to not just us he talked to a couple of people in a couple of different cars. Nice man I think he said he was 79 and he is Greek. And has had the burger boy for around 25 or 30 years!! Very very great !!Parking: It is a small place but they do you great on the amount of food .”

“This restaurant in Gatesville is a hidden gem if you don't live in or around Gatesville. Highly recommend you stop and eat here if passing through. The Chicken Jalisco plate is on point. I get this plate at least 1 - 2 times a week. They never disappoint.”

“The food was good especially the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli, I had to pay extra for chicken and broccoli 2 dollars each so total for that was 17 bucks spent 31 and some change altogether. So yeah kinda pricey but worth it. Also the inside looks so nice like it always has been there yrs ago. Oh and I am totes choosing the soup again over the salad I personally don't like their Italian dressing so I skip the salad but their soup was outstanding. Plus meal comes with nice warm bread great for dipping.Parking: Parking lot is attached to Parking lot of hotel next door.Kid-friendliness: Yes”

“From out of town…wanted Bar B Que..really liked the flavors of the food..good portions….my only complaint or concern would be ..I have a manager food handlers certificate…the food was luke warm to cold…the temps were not up to food standards…and I don’t ever send my food back..great place but please check your temps . Then I will give u 5 stars.”

“We visited Gatesville to view the eclipse. El Tapatio was recommended by one of the local city workers, and it became our go to restaurant in town. We've never had Texas Charro beans anywhere near that good, and after being home one day we are lamenting that we will have return there to see their like again. Don't get us wrong, they are more than a bean soup shop. Everything we ordered was way better than we expected, down to the ability to perfectly baste the eggs over my Huevos Rancheros. Great food, service, and very reasonable prices.”

“HEB is one of the best stores to shop for groceries I've ever been to. They always hire people that are respectful and the fully support Texas. The cashier's are extremely polite and will go to great lengths to make sure you are satisfied with your customer service ”

“Clean establishment with friendly staff and quick service. Delicious pizza. I placed an order for a stuffed crust pizza, and it was fresh out of the oven in eight minutes.”

“The sandwiches are great. The staff is friendly. I normally order from the app hoping to avoid the lines during lunch rush. This location could use better organization and a more refined process for delivering the app orders. Most of the time, I still have to wait in the line to finally get the sandwich I can see sitting when I arrive, defeating the goal of the app order completely.”

“Walk in to an old time feel with old chandeliers on the ceiling. It was a comfortable environment. Some nice music playing over the speakers. Sat quickly. Food came pretty quickly as well. I had a Ham and Cheese omelet. It was severed with Toast and Hash browns. My husband had a full stack. The food tasted great. The service was okay. Our server wasn't as attentive as we are used too, but thats okay. She still eventually get everything we asked. Overall I would recommend the visit.”

“A fair place for good Chinese food in a small town. However, there could be some improvements starting with the signage. One of the letters needs new facing, and all the birds nests need to be removed from the letters. The menu display could be improved as well. A friendly smile as customers come in and leave from all working there not from just one waitstaff.”

“Great prices their value menu actually is a value menu unlike other places, the kiosk is great way to order if you are wanting to customize and save money. The restaurant is always clean and neat great dining area and a outside dining area to boot with wifi.
