“Went here for local Thai food. I got the chicken pad Thai level 5 spicy and the beef basil fried rice level 3 spicy. I read on Yelp that this place has really good boat noodles but I wanted my go-to orders and decided to just give it a go while I was in the Haltom area. Service was polite. The pad Thai was a standard level of spicy for level 5 (Americanized). It’s a little heavy handed on the fish sauce. Still tasty. The beef basil fried rice was really good. I would recommend the rice dish.“

“I have tried many pho places and by far this is the best one. Customer service was great as well. Very welcoming since you walk in the door. The food was delicious& I loved it! I would be coming back and would recommend. It's very authentic and close to the real pho. I don't usually like lemonade but the one from here was very good !“

“Wow! Can’t stop thinking about my meal and ready to go back soon. Stumbled upon this place on Google and went for lunch at an off hour and was the only person dining in. Nondescript and unassuming locale don’t quite describe the place. Having only a little experience with Lao cuisine, I wanted something I’ve never had and ordered the Tum Mua. The flavors were incredible and freshness of the ingredients was evident. I had a feeling this place didn’t mess around when it came to spice so I ordered a 3/5 which still had me sweating. When I checked out I picked up a bag of fried banana chips to take home which turned out to be deliciously fresh and crispy as well. The owners/employees were very kind and welcoming. The place is clearly family run with lots of care.I will have to go back and try more of the menu including some of the Thai Curries that I am more familiar with for comparison. So I won’t pass final judgment yet, but the food here maybe, just maybe, is in the top tier for food in DFW. Was not expecting that.“

“im not certain how good the food is compared to other places, but it is certainly delicious. the service is exceptional, quicker than some fast food places and a similar price. its in a good location, rarely ever busy, and they may offer you a free drink while you wait. very thoughtful place. if you're paying 15+ dollars for fast food, you might as well eat here instead.“

“Ordered the set with papaya salad (Lao style) and Lao sausage. Everything was delicious. I also love young coconut drink! The only thing that I wish they can change is level of spicy, because I ordered level 3 but I didn’t taste any spice or heat at all felt like 0 to me.Overall: I will definitely go back!“

“Love their fried rice and Pad See Ew. Good spice levels too (1-4)! Well seasoned and well priced, probably of my favorite TLC takeout spot in DFW. I like the chinese broccoli in their pad see ew, good touch. Their chili oil is spicy too, love it! Their fried rice is always a good choice, good flavor and spice level. I usually get level 3/4 on spice level (pretty spicy). Nom Tok (steak salad) was good and their Tom Yum soup is a little sweet in my opinion. Definitely on my list to try more from them. “My husband and I love this place! Both their food and service is really amazing! We've tried multiple Thai places, and this is the very best. Our favorite is always chicken pad thai, but their curry is also pretty amazing. We came last week and it was closed for break, unfortunately, so we tried a different place that left me a little disappointed ?. What completely won me over at Golden Thai is that I can request no msg, and the cook honors it.“
