“Great place for some quick taco munchies. The fajita was really good and cooked and seasoned well. I did not know that they have three choices of salsa ranging from non-spicy, mild, and spicy. I normally get the green one thinking that it was spicy. But next time I will try the red one. “Good place, but it's not cheap. I got sliced brisket, potato salad and boudain balls. The brisket is up to par with other Texas BBQ places, nice smokiness, and fork tender, not quite fall apart tender, but it's very good. The potato salad was great, kinda tangy, works well with the creamy mayo and mustard goodness. The boudain balls are huge, the size of baseballs. The boudain was mostly rice, with a hint of liver, and I like more liver in my boudain. I'd still recommend them though. The service was good here too. No waiting in long lines. My order was out in 10 minutes. Boogie did me right. I have a minor issue with the ambience of the place. There's lots of Black Pride propaganda on the wall. Here in Texas, blacks and whites just get along together without much animosity. But Boogie is from Chicago, so I can understand why he has animosity towards whites. This doesn't detract from the fact they know what they're doing here, and if you don't mind dropping a few more dollars, it's gonna be worth it. Also, two people after me ordered turkey burgers here, so that must be a popular item. I plan and stopping by and trying one another time, just to see.“

The owner made appointments with me prior to the event to see the set up area. He was accommodating to my food requests, and he delivered everything I asked for. His staff was professional and accommodating as well during the event. No problems, no drama, great food and everyone at the event said "delicious and amazing food." There service and food was worth every Penny and more. I had to tip them for a job well done. Last thing to say was their fish tacos were the best!!!! Little food truck, parked on Fondern, parking lot felt shady when we pulled up but the owners big smile and the lively Persian music playing outside, made all our concerns dissipate.The ice cream was delicious and so authentic. The owner was so friendly and helpful. He told us his story of his families ties to making ice cream goes back generations. He's looking for a location to open up a brick & mortar and I wish him the best of luck bc a small spot on Fondern is not enough for such a big taste in ice cream!We'll be back and absolutely recommend.“

“I stopped here on a rainy day, in the mood for some authentic Mexican food. Tacos Anita La Veracruzana did not disappoint.This is a food truck on FM 521 in the Arcola/Fresno area. It shares the parking area with another business, so parking space is limited. I parked and walked up to the window. The menu is a little confusing but it's basically the photos posted on the outside of the food truck.I decided to order a torta and a gordita, both with fajita meat. I also ordered an horchata to wash it down with. The torta and gordita were both delicious. The meat was tender and flavorfull and blended well with the lettuce and tomato inside of it. The sauce gave it a creamy, savory, comforting taste to add depth to the bun on the torta and the corn shell of the gordita. The cheese was just the right amount, complimenting the meat but not overwhelming it. The lettuce and tomato kept everything tasting fresh. Last but not least, what is Mexican food without salsa. The red and green were both on point! While I'm not a big sweet drink person, the horchata was very good.This was a solid meal from a local food truck and did not disappoint. The parking is very limited but you can call ahead and order. It's located off of a busy road and traffic is a bit annoying around there but other than that, the service is excellent. The food truck operator is very nice and the food was worth the rain I stood in to order the food. There's not much to say about the ambiance, since it's a food truck in a very small lot on a loud road.I'll return to order the pambazos and sopes next. I'll also try the mango or piña agua fresca next time.If you are in the area, stop by and try this authentic Veracruz, Mexican cuisine!“
