“We happened upon the BEST Thai restaurant, Thai Soon, in Richardson! Portion size was great, a tiny but quaint place facing Coit Rd, just south of Beltline. Actual address is 101 S. Coit Rd, Suite 401. We always start off with spring rolls. If you want oil free you need to specify steamed tofu, not fried. I had the Cashew Nut Entree with Brown rice that was heaping with fresh veggies ! I had a spice level of 3 and it was perfect for my spicy palate. Pat chose a Pad Thai with Veggies as well. Both of us agreed that it was the best Thai food we have ever had in Dallas (and we have frequented many)! We followed up with Purple Sticky Rice for dessert, and it was a 10/10! Not the right season for Mango Sticky Rice, so we tried something new, and cannot wait to return! Prices very reasonable as well! You won’t regret a visit to Thai Soon In Richardson.Vegetarian options: You can substitute tofu in most all dishes. Just be sure to tell them that you are Vegan and cannot eat any animal products.“

“We had been meaning to try this restaurant out and got the chance over the weekend for dinner. We found the food and service to be really great. We came in when they had a large group already seated. We were impressed at how they were able to get our food out quickly along with that of the group. We started with the Summer Roll with shrimp. The portion was good and the flavor was great. For the main meal, I went away from my usual favorite Thai dish and went with the Thai's Thumbz Noodle with tofu and I'm glad I did. While it is similar to Pad See Ew, the sauce was a bit different and I liked the snow peas and peanuts for something different. My husband went with the Pad See Ew with chicken and he also wasn't disappointed. The portions were generous and the flavor was so good, I found it hard to stop eating! We look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu like their curries.“

“I love hanging out with friends at Bambu. We had fresh conch larb (off menu special) ... so yummy! We also have oyster salad, creamy Pacific Coast oysters tossed in a spicy-citrus dressing with fried onions and garlic. The Pad Kee Mao Boran is always a go-to for me - fresh, thick rice noodles with its aromatic "wok" char. We also have a bottle of 2016 Twommey Merlot, always love exploring their wine menu - very extensive and diverse.“

“First time here and I was really impressed. I always try the chicken pad Thai at new Thai places as a reference and it was delicious. I also had the duck roti and the Tom kha soup. Everything was fresh, aromatic, and tasty. The Thai tea was made right. The service here is outstanding. I was greeted with a smile, sat down and served immediately. The place is a bit small but worth every visit. Will definitely be back.“

“I love this place too many good things one modern storefront, fast food style walk in go to the iPad. Pick your food then how you want your chicken fried or cooked how spicy you want it, white or really good brown ,is there any allergies, What items you do not like, then within five minutes you'll have a nice hot meal taste absolutely delicious, and hot, fresh. What else do you want? for me It's perfect. Simple no nonsense, one plastic fork, one plastic bowl, rice and one napkin.“

“This place is awesome. It started with the guy at the counter who was very friendly and provided recommendations. We had the pad Thai burrito with curried tofu which was incredible. The tofu in particular is some of the best I’ve had and the dipping sauce is possibly even better, somehow. We also ordered the khao soi with beef shank which was super flavorful and the birria tacos which were solid. This is going a new staple for us, definitely try it if you like creative Asian food.Vegetarian options: The curried tofu in any dish is amazing.“

“We love Banana Leaf and the family that owns and runs the restaurant. We’ve held rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and family gatherings on top of our usual deliveries on nights we’re just too tired to cook. Shrimp blankets are a must for us. Our daughter has been eating those since she was a year old!“

“We had great service for our large group. I really enjoyed the eggplant dip and sticky rice appetizers, but my pad woo sen was very delicious. The portion size was appropriate and was very nice to have left overs. Very cute restaurant too! We came during lunch and it seemed like a great place for a work meeting.“

“I'm not local, here on a business trip. First time in this restaurant. Small place, relatively, not in a bad way. The food was superb. I started with Tom Kha with tofu. It was a big portion for a cup. Very very tasty. For main course I took a chance with Khao Soi, a curry noodle soup. Never had something similar and I ate many Thai curries in the past. Just excellent. Service was good.“

“Without a doubt, Saucy's is my new go-to Thai spot! I've tried numerous places offering drunken noodles (pad kee mao), and Saucy's tops them all! Their version with tomato and egg sets them apart, and I appreciate their consistent quality and perfect spice levels. The flavor balance is spot on. Since discovering them last month, I've already ordered from them three times! The crunchy spring rolls were exactly as described - crunchy and delicious. I'm totally hooked and can't wait to go back for more!“

“Top notch! I came in at 3:30pm during a weekday so if it's that fresh during those dead hours I would think it's just as good during peak hours. This is some really good sushi! Very fresh salmon sashimi, the woman at the counter is very sweet and attentive, and I've felt some real VIP experience eating there. 14 bucks well spent I believe!Vegetarian options: Vegan cream cheese when indicatedParking: Restaurant parking is clearly labeled for the restaurant.“

“Enjoyed lunch at Indochine last week. Portions were large and the service was prompt. My only complaint was that the curries (one red and one green) were so spicy that we were both sweating like we had just run a 10K. Would have gotten five stars if the heat had been turned down just a bit.“

“I had basil fried rice and a cup of Tom kha soup. The rice was hot and fresh and tasted delicious! The soup was creamy and had a lot coconut flavor and I really enjoyed it. We showed up close to the closing time and we asked if it was still okay for us to eat there, and they welcomed us in and were happy to serve us. I will definitely be back, it was an excellent experience!“

“First time to Asian Mint. 4 & 1/2 stars. All 4 of us really enjoyed our food selections. The restaurant was clean , bright , and decor was nice. Pleasantly surprised with flowers outside and inside. Restaurant was busy 1:00 Sunday . Plenty of waiters and kitchen run well . Our food : Crispy Red Snapper with broccoli , baby bock-choy , and red bell pepper. Grilled Salmon with teriyaki sauce, broccoli and rice . Pad See lew. wide rice noodle, black soy, egg, broccoli and bok choy. My choice was Asian vegetables Stir fry with Bok choy, cabbage , carrot, snap peas, mushrooms, white onion , green onion, and bamboo shoots . I chose the white meat chicken which was very tender and the sauce was light with a lots of flavor . Very large portion . Leftovers ! This is the first Asian restaurant that truly satisfied my love of vegetables . We did have the green tea ice crème cake. Cake tastes a little like matcha . It was large slice for 4. Planning to go back again very soon. Food was very fresh and not hidden with too much soy sauce. Fish was fresh not fishy . They have good Asian beer choices and the ice tea unsweetened Passion berry is really good . Looks like they have a few locations as well . The Forest lane one“

“I ordered the Pad Woon Sen with Tofu and Iced Melon Green Tea. The food and drink were perfection! The servers were gracious and checked in with me several times. I was able to take leftovers home, including my drink. Awesome setting and great music playing in the background. I will definitely be eating here again to try more things on the menu. So many dishes to choose from. Beware that they are closed on Sundays and from 3 to 5 in the afternoons during the week.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options marked on the menu“

“Food ordered: Pad Thai, Pad Sew Ew and a Peach Green Tea. Everything tasted so good! Both noodle dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Only complaint is I wish the Pad Sew Ew had more noodles. The Pad Thai had way more on the plate but the presentation of the dishes were so cute! I can't wait to come back. Service is wonderful too! It's the kind of service where you order and then get a buzzer and pick your food up at the station. They prepare it on a large wooden tray. You always service yourself water which btw was GOOD water as well! This place is clean and cute! Pricing is a bit on the higher side total was about $46 after tax and tip for two dishes and a drink! WORTH IT in my Opinion!“

“This is a really solid Laotian/Thai chain(I thinks it’s a location chain?) The food is always really consistent, and the website for ordering to go is really easy to use and has such nice photos. We love the wings sausage and papaya salad here! One of the best parts is, if you order your meal spicy—it is spicy. Some places still skimp even when you ask for the highest level. Definitely recommend“

“Food was on point Laotian food. Perfect balance of flavor. We had the Lao fried rice, Kapoon, beef jerky, sticky rice and Thai tea. Everything replicate the taste of soul food. Definitely will come back. On sunny days don't sit by the windows it can get hot. Otherwise it was a great experience.“

“The food here is amazing and reasonably priced a good portion sizes. I really liked the curry that they had. Service is good. Only thing I did not like is that it is below ground dining in a little bit hard to find, but that is literally the only bad thing I can say. Other than that I would highly recommend them for excellent Thai food.“

“This was our first visit to Ruang Thai based on a recommendation from a colleague. Outstanding! We ordered iced tea (delicious hint of vanilla), steamed pork dumplings (so tender with hint of heat from the sauce), chicken pad Thai (a little sweet, not spicy), red curry chicken (so light and fresh), and finished with fried bananas with coconut ice cream. Clean, simple, and well managed. The sweetest staff took great care of us. We will definitely be back soon!“

“My 2nd time there in a month. Amazing Thai food and friendly, attentive staff in a lush setting. My only ask would be that they play Thai music like Khun Narin or Cambodian music like Dengue Fever to compliment the theming and decor. But other than that, 5 stars!“

“I am absolutely astounded that this place didn't have more customers here. The food was wonderful. The staff was friendly, and the service was great. I guess having a bar next door didn't help with parking, but even still worth trying to get here. I went back a second time just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. Ordered Thai Ginger Chicken with extra ginger the second round. First was a Pad Thia.“

“This is a small but quant corner, you have a variety of stores Tom Thumb being one of them. Then you have numerous eating places like on the border, some kind of Chinese one on the same square as On The Border and many others. Plus you have Chase Bank. You can get in and out from three different sides, coming off of the Dallas Tollway, Parker road or the first street after the Tollway. Makes it convenient and fast to get in and out of there.“

“Our two curry dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very fast at noon on a Saturday. The interior looks nice and the price was reasonable, $28 for both, including tax. Large portion sizes. Good location at Forest Lane and Marsh Lane. The only negative was that the sauce was a little watery. We have eaten Thai food for 30 years and this was above average.Parking: It's a strip mall anchored by a major grocery store with hundreds of parking spots.“

“As someone who has gone to several afternoon teas, here’s what we really enjoyed:1. Service was great. I loved how polite and friendly our waitress was. She explained what tea we were being served and what each tier had. A true afternoon tea service experience.2. The price point. Price was $45 per person( one of the more affordable teas in the area). A fair price given the amount of food but also factoring in that you’re not paying for location. The restaurant is casual, but nice.3. Food was good, not everything was my favorite but that’s totally ok. I enjoyed trying new things- it’s part of the experience! Our favorites were chicken satay sandwich, curry puffs, cranberry & white chocolate scone, macaroons, and mango mousse cake. I wish they would replace one of the other options with another sweet dessert. The desserts I listed were so good!I’ll be keeping an eye out when there’s a menu change, I’m interested in what they come up with next!“
