“YUCCA GRILL Following the posting and review of another NextDoor neighbor we decided to go for lunch at the Yucca Grill. It's hard to express how incredible our meal was. The place is beautifully done, quite different from the previous occupant (Al Waadi). We loved going to Al Waadi, and it's wonderful to be able to return there now with this fabulous new restaurant in full swing. My wife had the Chicken Wrap, and I had the Vegetarian Wrap. Both were amazing, and I must say that their falafel is probably the best I've ever had. The wraps were delicious. Prior to getting our wraps we took our waiter's suggestion and got the 5-item sampler... all incredibly delicious. I would also mention that the service is elegant, and first class, and our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. I wish the Yucca Grill all the best of luck, because they've made a monumental effort to succeed, and also to create something beautiful that is an asset to the community. Please give them a try. It's really impressive.”

I stopped by one evening and the gentleman who works on Wednesday was extremely rude had a bad attitude didn’t give you were good just placed it on the lil shelf and provided no condiments. He ordered crab legs and the manager came to our table and said they would separately boil his order so that it was not cooked in the same water as shrimp. My son in law was so impressed and thankful and we felt like the manager really cared about his well-being and wanted him to be able to enjoy his food assured he wouldn’t have any issues! We love this place and the crab legs were AMAZING!!!!”

“It is a mall place, but it has very big flavors. Our second visit for pizza. There are homemade dishes, especially the lasagna, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. I promised myself I would try more items. There were a lot of take out customers, so it can get busy. Today was a nice quiet day, and we got to chat with the chef. He is friendly and knowledgeable. I would do a lasagna cook off with him and not hang my head if I lost, as his love for his cooking is as furious as mine. Try this place, you will enjoy it.”

Coffee itself tastes great, not too bitter, although personally I think I'll still order my next cold brew with a bit of sweetener added, and you know it's good strong coffee when you feel it go right to your head ? but the best part was the atmosphere. It's everything starbucks wishes it was, clean, cozy, quiet and relaxing. I felt a genuine sense of peace going in there, and the lovely young lady working was very nice walking me through how ordering there works. Despite how inconvenient the location is for me, having to make a loop around the Grand Parkway to get there from home, I think it's worth to 20 minute drive to get there for such a nice experience. I'll definitely be a regular here.”

“Had a fantastic time at Prohibition. Parking is tricky, best to park in the open lot at the end of the street. But it seems sadly a truck was broken into in that lot. If you are lucky to park infront, great. Caught the Happy Hour on Thursday with a shared steak dinner. Drinks were delicious, and the bartender knew how to make the best Smoked Old Fashioned. For this, we will definitely be back. But the chef does not know how to make a Medium Rare steak lol. Don't forget to check out the cigar lounge upstairs if you want a bit more quiet and comfortable seating. I hear there's a Bluetooth speaker you can have some music going if others enjoy it. Overall, outstanding bar.”

“I left this location (FM 2920) a while ago, and, I got to say, the conditions that the LC crew is working in are horrible. It was cooler OUTSIDE the store than inside, and it was 91 outside! I’m surprised nobody has experienced heat exhaustion. Maybe they have. Who owns or is in charge of this location? They really need to look into providing better ventilation and AC for their crew.”

“YUCCA GRILL Following the posting and review of another NextDoor neighbor we decided to go for lunch at the Yucca Grill. It's hard to express how incredible our meal was. The place is beautifully done, quite different from the previous occupant (Al Waadi). We loved going to Al Waadi, and it's wonderful to be able to return there now with this fabulous new restaurant in full swing. My wife had the Chicken Wrap, and I had the Vegetarian Wrap. Both were amazing, and I must say that their falafel is probably the best I've ever had. The wraps were delicious. Prior to getting our wraps we took our waiter's suggestion and got the 5-item sampler... all incredibly delicious. I would also mention that the service is elegant, and first class, and our waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. I wish the Yucca Grill all the best of luck, because they've made a monumental effort to succeed, and also to create something beautiful that is an asset to the community. Please give them a try. It's really impressive.”

“We went to Pirate’s Paradise on Sawdust this evening and it was AMAZING. My server was so wonderful, attentive and the chef even came out to discuss a dietary concern. On top of that, the food was top notch and although my toddler decided at times to be difficult, the staff was so kind. They waved to him. They asked how everything was tasting. My drinks were ALWAYS more than 50% full. My only regret is that I didn’t manage to catch my waiter’s name because I was dealing with my toddler at the time. I highly recommend!”
