It's so rare to have gluten free baked goods that actually taste good! The apple cider doughnuts were probably the best thing I've eaten all year. I also had a brownie that was chewy and crumbly at the same time-definitely will be back!

Simply wow. An awesome and impressive array of gluten free baked goods. Saturdays they offer savory items, too. I ordered a Black Forest chocolate cherry muffin. Hands down there's some sorcery involved because it was moist with a perfect crumb and there's no way anyone would consider it GF if they didn't know better. They have limited hours, so be sure to check to ensure they'll be open OR make an order online for pickup outside after hours. A true gem in Essex.

Our family made out annual pilgrimage to Burlington for vacation. Always looking for a quality baked good for my wife and son with gluten allergies, we were excited to try West Meadow Farm Bakery for some treats on the way back home to NY. The brownies, cookies, and muffins were all fantastic; better than a lot of regular flour offerings I’ve had. My wife was especially excited to try their Three Cheese bread since she’s been dying for a truly great bread since having to go gluten free. Theirs is definitely the best we’ve had and makes amazing eggs and cheese breakfast sandwiches and grilled cheese. It’s the best gluten free bread we’ve had compared to a lot of those offered in the supermarkets. We did have an issue with the loaf turning a day or two before the date on the bag but their customer service was just as good as their baked goods. We can’t recommend them highly enough and look forward to shopping with them again.

I adore WMFB. Their pastries are really good!!! The best part about this bakery is that there's no "gluten tax"-- things cost the way gluten bakeries charge. They have a broad variety of offerings: the basics, like breads (cheese bread, challah, sandwich bread, etc), brownies and cupcakes, and cookies, but they also have some very unique offerings including shredded chicken & carmelized onion pinwheels (these are excellent), cream puffs (first time having a gluten free cream puff!), savory scones, ready-to-bake pizza dough, granola, Montréal-style bagels, etc. Their customs are insanely affordable compared to even non-gf bakeries as well, and they can really customize those dietary restrictions. I am partial to the carrot cake: it has a GENEROUS amount of frosting and tastes really good (and no raisins, yay). A really wide variety of options for very fair prices. I love you WMFB!

West Meadow Farm Bakery is a wonderful gluten-free bakery in the Essex Junction area! We have seen this bakery for a while and finally had time to stop in, and this place was awesome!! Everything is gluten-free - there are so many options! We got many different things, from cookies to brownies to coffee cake to muffins…and so much more than I just listed. Everything was really good! Many items didn’t taste gluten-free at all - a lot of bakeries sacrifice good flavor or texture to make something gluten-free, but West Meadow Farm Bakery doesn’t do that. Also, service was great, the place was really clean, and there was even some seating outside. Even if you’re not gluten-free, this is definitely a place you should stop in to check out. Get there early to see all the options before they start to sell out! Check this place out!!

This is my go to gluten free spot. I live out of state now, but I still place huge bulk orders from here. The staff is friendly and the baked goods are always amazing. I love this place!

Called last week to specifically come here on Monday to get cupcakes but was closed. I wish the hours were better because I hear their food is amazing.

Really good!!! The best part about this bakery is that there’s no “gluten tax”— things cost the way gluten bakeries charge. And they have some very unique offerings like shredded chicken&carmelized onion pinwheels, cream puffs (first time having a gluten free cream puff!), savory scones, mini key lime pies, cheese bread, extremely affordable custom cakes/pies, granola, takeaway pizza crusts. Their carrot cake has a GENEROUS amount of frosting and tastes really good (and no raisins, yay). A really wide variety of options for very fair prices. I love u west meadow farm bakery

GF baked goods are a difficult breed. This place has tons of choices and overall a good sense of how to balance the limitations of gf bread. For example, the maple scone has a good amount of frosting that balances the dry ( and this scone is better btw than many gluten- full scones) nice to have a cinnamon roll again. It's a bit dense but I don't think you can get better w GF. Lemon bar had good lemon flavor and maple cheesecake tastes as expectedSavory items from a later visit also quite good.

The most amazing GF pastries I ever had!! My husband ordered the carrot cake for my birthday and it was just outstanding. As per his request they decorated with a sunflower and the frosting was just delicious. The cake was moist, perfect balance and the decoration was just stunning. We also have the pineapple custard bar, the sour cream coffee cake and the cheese bread and they were so good!!! We went back for more the next day Their prices are so good for GF Highly recommended it
