My wife and I have always loved this friendly dive with good food when visiting my parents (who live in Chinook) I really hope this vintage gem is reopened and keeps its old charm!!!! Anything less would be a disadvantage to this community!

It's the place where local writers go to celebrate getting their work published. They have Guinness on Tap and for Canadian friends, some tasty poutine. Mostly, it's just a welcoming coastal place with no pretentions.

They're not closed...struggling, but not closed. The beer on tap is still fresh, and they offer one menu item at a time. Very friendly place (cook/server and patrons). We had local greens in a house made vinaigrette, and some stellar picked salmon that was flavorful and not at all mushy. Please stop in so they stay open!

Would love to see it open and having the good times we use to have! Partying and lots of friends. But now those good old days are over and most old friends are passed on but sure would like to see it back in the swing and a good place to meet, have a coffee or drink and chat with friends, will that ever be again? Hope so!

4 stars for the food, 5th star is for the service!!! Fresh Rockfish fish and Chips and they started the fryer and made for us even though they had everything switched over for an event. I will definitley go back if i ever have the chance :)

Technically, a "bar", so Washington state law says no kids. Of course, the establishment also influences how they choose to present themselves. We stopped for some seafood, but were turned away. So, if you have kids, and are looking for seafood on a Monday afternoon, you should know that kids are not allowed here.

Great stop on the way to Cape Disappointment. Never had a more hearty clam chowder and friendly conversation. The menu varies, but always delicious. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. I had the BLT and it was made to perfection - the bacon was delicious. The fries are incredibly tasty. If you are visiting the area - stop by - you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is casual and divey - which is part of its charm. The service is very nice and friendly. Highly recommend - can't wait to come back.

My husband and I walked in, sat down and waited for someone to acknowledge our presence.I finally got up and approached the bar where all the regulars were sitted.Waited and waited for the lady behind the bar to stop playing with her phone and to ask me what I neededI had to walk over closer to her and get her attention.I asked for some menus, she replied "I have some here somewhere "Found out she and her husband own the place. He was very pleasant and told us what the special was for the day. We've been there before a while back and their menu was a lot smaller. We ordered burgers because there was not much to choose from. They were good. After lunch found out they don't take credit cards and the wife refused to take a local check. Also found out from the husband that they have fish and chips which is what I went there for but wasn't on the menu.We wanted to support a small business on our way home from Astoria but was terribly disappointed with the poor service. We won't go back. They seem to cater to their regulars and can care less about having new customers

Stopped by for some fish and chips. But we ended up getting the fresh off the smoker prime rib instead. Absolutely delicious! Thanks!

Everything is made in-house even the French fries are made from fresh potatoes cut just before they fry them. Best I have ever eaten. The fried rock fish was great. The tartar sauce was made fresh with my order. Small menu but worth the Quality of the food.

Tried to come here for chowder and the lady working was hacking and coughing into her hands as she was making the food. I mean it is covid!!!, but that is always a huge turn off if your making my food! So we bailed.

The decor was adorable. Came here for lunch. Had rockfish and chips. The fries were great but the fish was bland. Server was friendly, courteous and seemed like a nice person.
