“Our burgers came out wrong and after petting them know the order came out wrong the cashier apologized about his mistake and immediately got our order changed to what we asked for originally. Service is great here and they had no issues with fixing our order, they brought the food out and made sure they had gotten it correct.“

“Cute little place. Have the option to order to go, eat at a picnic table, or eat in an old style bus. You order your food at the window and they call your name out over the radio. Food is really good, my girls loved their shakes, and I enjoyed the lavender lemonade. Staff was also really friendly.“

Warm, inviting, classy, everything you could want for an Italian restaurant. We were quickly seated and went over the menus.I got Mama's Italian Grinder, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Delicious bread, savory meats, crunchy veggies, it was the perfect grinder.We'll definitely be back! Absolutely fantastic. “Our (my wife and I) experience has been that the food has always been fresh and good quality. For instance, we've NEVER had a Salad where the lettuce was just on the verge of "turning" or the fish the Fish n Chips had that terrible "rubber" texture (where you know it was old fish). Also, the food offered is not what one purchases in order to "calorie count" and the portions and prices are always to the patrons favor, thus, we have never walked away hungry. The staff have always been friendly, courteous, and helpful (as of late, traits that seem to be getting more difficult to experience elsewhere). Regarding atmosphere, whelp, it's a Pub, so the Food, Service, Beer, Spirits, Billiards, Darts (electronic, I believe), and Pull Tabs are all paired with an ENORMOUS SIDE OF ATMOSPHERIC UNPRETENTIOUSNESS. That said, and I don't share this lightly, it is one of our favorite places to eat, the food and service never fail to impress, and we highly recommend it.“

“We've been here a few times food was always on point. Juicy burgers and crispy frys that are soft in the middle. We went on Friday and met our daughter there. She drove from Tacoma cuz we raved about this place. Ordered our food and this time our burgers were a little dry and our fries were repeat heats. Come on guys. “It's been several years since my last visit to HG Bistro. Overall this visit was a good one. Food was good, but keep in mind I only ordered appetizers, and the drinks were great. Service was polite, friendly, and informative, but it took an extended period of time for just about everything. Our food took about 40 minutes to arrive after we ordered, drinks took awhile, . “This place reminds me of a restaurant I went to with my dad back in my hometown. Since I don’t live there anymore, it’s hard to find a good burger/ice cream joint with a local feel but this place delivers that nostalgia I miss! I’ve been here multiple times and the food is always fresh, delicious, and great. They have never messed up an order and is always handed over with excellent service. Anytime I’m in the Auburn area, I will come over for a hamburger or hotdog and a milkshake. The grilled cheeses are fantastic too. Love this place to pieces, definitely a favorite!“

The shake was basically the orange flavoring with a little bit of shake mix. It was inedible and I threw it away. It's the fact that I can't trust a shake and that no one has reached out to make good on my shake purchase that drove me to this point. “There are many places to eat that serve good food in Federal Way. The Village Inn does way better than just that. They consistently serve great food from a great menu with outstanding staff. The owner (he is way cool) is often there making his guests feel very special and appreciated. My wife and I have eaten there for years before her Barbershop rehearsals. We always enjoy the background music selections played on the best restaurant sound system in the city. This is a safe place to entertain your family and to have business meetings over breakfast, lunch or dinner. And the price is right!Parking: You can park right by the front door in their paved, flat, well lighted, easy to negotiate lot. I feel more secure in their lot than in many other lots.Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of room for kids and a selection of kid friendly food. We have 23 grandkids, so we especially like the reasonable prices. If you don't like kids (sucks to be you) then there are plenty of tables to get away from the happiness that kids bring.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot is wheelchair friendly and the isles in the restaurant are plenty wide at both the tables and the booths.“
