“Our recent visit to Over the Moon was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set a perfect stage for a memorable dining experience. The service was impeccable, showcasing professionalism and attentiveness that made us feel truly valued as guests. The food was outstanding, with each dish prepared to perfection. We had the Over the Moon Lasagne and the scallops as our two entrées. The lasagne was deliciously rich and comforting, layered with a perfect balance of cheese and sauce that melted in the mouth (no pasta!). The scallops were seared to a golden perfection, tender on the inside with a delightful crispness on the outside. Each bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and attention to detail. Adding to our wonderful dining experience was our waitress, who was both knowledgeable and kind. She expertly guided us through the menu, making recommendations that enhanced our meal and demonstrating an impressive understanding of the cuisine and ingredients. Overall, Over the Moon Restaurant delivers an exquisite dining experience that expertly combines superb service, culinary excellence, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. It is a gem that promises not just a meal, but a culinary journey that is absolutely unforgettable. This was our 6th time there and we'll be back again!“

“we've been going to Ebony and ivory for over a year now. the coffee is great. the service is great and the overall atmosphere of the place is like you have your own little neighborhood coffee place“
“Bought a $100 gift card for my Father for Christmas. Can't wait for him to tell me about his first experience . My wife and I enjoyed individual flights last night, seated on the vintage looking green valour settee. The Bigger Bodies Reds. Each was amazing and it was a tough choice of which to choose for a glass. New World was the flight my wife enjoyed. Next I had a glass of the Blesoe. Two of our friend couples came so we became six. Each of them enjoyed a flight or glass. The staff was informative, super friendly and hospitable. We will certainly return, great meeting spot and The Spar is across the street;). The only suggestion is filtered water please as the water provided tasted to my wife & I like tap water.“
“great place to relax and have a glass of wine, beer or cider!“
“Stopped to grab a few bottles on our way out to an off grid peninsula trip. 45 minutes and 14 bottles later... so glad we came here rather than a big chain. Great selection of interesting and classic wines at a price point that makes it hard not to keep adding oooone more bottle. And a very warm and friendly reception. Good shop for wine nerds and novices alike!“

“My husband and I moved to Lakewood last year from Ocean Shores where we owned a wine bar/shoppe and decided to try and find a place that we could enjoy being “on the other side of the bar.” This is the first place that we truly enjoyed ourselves in. The owners, Cosette and John are wonderfully welcoming and provide a warm atmosphere with a nice wine list and tasty offerings to nibble on. Their house made crackers and cheese board are wonderful!“

“Made a reservation for 12:30pm for a party of two. We had the Dottie Flight and Reserve Spirits Flight and the Charcuterie board. Cost about $75 before tip. It was our first tasting experience and we enjoyed it very much.Atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. The crackers and cheese board is good but not much for food so make sure your not hungry when you go.“

“It's not like a sit down restaurant and a waitress comes over. It's like a fast food place. You order and pick it up. Not my cup of tea. We walked in and turned right around. Food smelled delicious though. It's like a little college hang out place.“

“Very fun place. I thought it was more of a lovely brunch spot but it’s very much more a DJ everywhere a selfie whooohoo girl place It’s adorable but a little like an influencers paradise. The biggest disappointment is I got a flight of bubbly Cava and champagne is my drink of choice. The flight was just basic and they were served in a flat bottom glass Not chilled either and then went flat right away. It didn’t help one was Prosecco so they never have good bubbles. But warm and not bubbles in a spirit glass is pathetic. I also think you shouldn’t call it a flight if it’s pre selected. I’m beyond glad I didn’t waste money on a glass of sparkling or champagne that was a higher price point that perhaps comes is an inappropriate glass The variety is just ok Good part - food was fantastic. We got brunch. I got the avacado salmon toast and it was so good. Large portion. It comes with what they said are biscuits but we got a scone to share breakfast potatoes and an arugula burrata salad. It was very good although have to add hubs got steak and eggs and the scone potatoes and salad (ours didn’t have any dressing ) were served. Then a while later the entree was served. It was odd. The scone yes but a plate of potatoes ?!? The price point was great. Loooove to see new places in Tacoma Service was decent. Hard to want to go back because it felt so young almost immature and nothing to do with champagne appreciation. But the food was great and maybe they focus will change to champagne“

“Mother's Day celebration. It's hard to find parking. No luck with street parking. I ended paying at Diamond parking lot, about $9 for two hours. Early dinner, not crowded at all. We had a reservation at the outside patio. The bartender sat us under the big tree. He was friendly and humorous. Our server was prompt and courteous. Service was above par. Saying the food was delicious is an understatement. Everything they prepare and serve in this restaurant is meticulously prepared. You can smell and savor the aroma and the umami of the tapas. The lobster risotto was so good - my kids loved them. And the paella reminded me of our time in Valencia, Spain. It was top-notch. The price is at the higher end but worth it on this beautiful special occasion.“
