Great little sushi restaurant that has been in Banff for over 3 decades. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and we loved the little train that they use for the sushi! Good value too!

We arrived at 8pm and were lucky to have a seat. The taste was good, there were many types of sushi that you can't find elsewhere. Hope you guys try the smoked salmon sushi. This restaurant only offers sushi and a few side dishes. Their sushi is quite big. The price is not too expensive for a tourist town. Worth a try.

Fast, fun, and delicious.This place gets five stars because it’s fast and fun. I might not be the best sushi you’ll ever eat but you will enjoy it. Just grab what you want off the train. If you don’t see it ask the chef and he’ll make it just for you. If you want a fried item they’ll bring it to you and throw a couple more orders in the train. They will also make off menu item for you such as inari sushi. My favorite was the tempura shrimp roll and the red tuna nigiri.You pay by the plate. It adds up quick. Be careful it too fun.

It’s a small joint but very Japanese. If you know the difference in quality sushi or real Japanese food then you will be delighted here, even in the mountains. The train was fun, you can get food right away, and the chairs turn over quickly. Our family that is from Japan ate there 2x! Highly recommend for singles or families!

I tried ice cream once, it was handmade and the taste was very real. I wanted to come back to savor it. When I came back, I found that the taste had become very ordinary, with no original flavor, only sweetness. The fried chicken taste was not ideal and had no taste. Sushi is acceptable，service still very great!

I am editing my review from 5 stars. It's fairly expensive now, and the sushi is pretty average. The rice isn't very nice and not very sticky and fake off. A bit tight for wheelchairs but doable for manual chairs.

Loved it!! The sushi was fantastic. Equal to the best I’ve had at the top rated restaurants in Edmonton. But the best part was the way it’s served. You can try what looks good as it comes around on the train or you can let them know what you’d like to see added to the train and they’ll make it. It’s perfect for getting the exact amount you want and eating until you’re just full!
