“Longshots at Fairmount Park offers a mix of good food and live music in a cozy, warm setting. The menu includes Mediterranean Pizza, shrimp, pulled pork, baked potato, baked beans, and nachos. Many guests praise the shrimp as excellent and the pulled pork and baked potato as tasty. The Mediterranean Pizza comes piping hot with cheese still stringin' and fresh, flavorful veggies. Some diners note that salads were laughable, the smoked platter was not very warm, and fries were cold. The cheese on the nachos was also cold at first, but the bartender/waiter brought a new platter. Prices feel high for frequent visits. Service is generally friendly and attentive; the manager was a very nice lady who went above and beyond. Live music, especially Paul Bonn & The Bluesmen, is a highlight. “Don Don Curry is located in the Hmart eatery area of a mall, offering Japanese curry and other dishes. It is considered one of the better places for Japanese curry in the local area, outside of Fort Lee. The food is generally okay and typical, with some highlights. The Japanese Curry with Chicken and Rice, specifically the Chicken Cutlet Curry, is quite good and worth ordering. The pork curry is also tasty, described as mild and rich, served with fluffy rice. The soup with pork is noted as not bad at all, and a child enjoyed the chicken with sauce over rice and cabbage. However, many items can be disappointing. The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl was below average. The pork cutlet was plain, and a side egg was served cold. For the price, which some feel is a bit overpriced, the dishes are missing elements like sides of potato and corn salad or coleslaw, and servings of pickled red radish are very small. The Spicy Chicken Ramen was not spicy at all. The mall location means paid parking, it can be packed making seating problematic, and the ambiance is not particularly inviting. Service experiences vary; while food comes out quick, some staff interactions have been perceived as rude. It is a mall food court spot, so temper your expectations, but it is a convenient option if you are already at the mall.”

The Rasta pasta is creamy and flavorful, and the salmon Rasta pasta is also noted. Other standout items are the goat soup, brown stew chicken, veggie pasta, rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, beef patty, and freshly made pineapple ginger juices. Portions are huge, everything is hot and fresh, and prices are very reasonable. The customer service is fantastic, top tier, warm, welcoming, and kind. The staff makes you feel like family. It is a family-owned business where the owners are passionate and attentive. The restaurant itself is spotless. This is not just a restaurant but an experience, and it is highly recommended. They also offer catering for special events.”

“Wonderful service, clean and quiet. I meet people there often to discuss matters pertaining to my volunteer activities.”
“I recently visited family in Massachusetts and met with friends at Barber's Crossing in Sterling. I am 73 years old and have eaten out in many places. Over the last couple of years anyone that you speak with will tell you that the prices have gone UP, and the quality and Portion sizes have gone DOWN. THAT WAS NOT TRUE AT BARBER'S CROSSING DURING MY VISIT. I had to call my daughter and tell her what a wonderful meal I had. Every bite was just as flavorful and tasteful as the first. Even the mashed potatoes tasted fresh and homemade. Whenever I return to Mass for a visit. I will be sure to stop and eat there again. It was the best meal that I have had at a restaurant in years! The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was quite pleasant. But the food was exceptional. Keep up the great work in the kitchen.”
“Fabulous meal. Try their Cubano! Our family of five were thrilled with fabulous food and the personal touches. Would absolutely recomend!”
“The restaurant is right downtown on King Street which makes it so convenient for late night "need a really good cheese steak" moment. THey got it nailed. 10 out of 10 stars!”

“Some locals suggested this place to me when I was out on the Spit several years ago disappointed that a favorite food truck that served fish and chips was closed. I promptly came here, and have looked forward to it all winter ever since. I have had halibut sandwiches, halibut/cod/rockfish and chips, rockfish tacos, a carne asada taco, a Helper hamburger, their frozen ice cream, and more. There are many drink choices; a refrigerator full. All of the fixings for the tacos and sandwiches are fresh. The tartar sauce is excellent. The seafood batter is just right, tasty and not too thick. In short, the food is excellent; the service is very friendly and quick; there are tables to sit down and eat indoors and outdoors, on a deck and on the ground; it is clean, neat, and there is parking. Can't beat the atmosphere, in an active commercial boatyard, with a view out to the Bay in the near distance. It is my go-to dine in or out place esp for seafood in Homer now.”

Customers often enjoy specialty flavors like Gansito, which is like birthday cake with raspberry and tastes much better. The ice cream creations are interesting, unique, and delicious. The staff speak both English and Spanish, and service is usually fast, with only rare moments of attitude from a server. Overall, the restaurant offers a friendly environment with great customer service and a variety of tasty treats.”
“Global Cuisine by Blesame Int'l Catering is a welcoming restaurant serving authentic Filipino cuisine. The owner, Chef Kris, is kind and accommodating, making guests feel right at home. The menu offers a range of classic Filipino dishes, including Pork Adobo Ribs, Pancit with Pork, and Halo-Halo dessert. The bento box special, featuring chicken or pork adobo with steamed rice, spring roll, pancit, and dessert, is a popular choice. The locally-owned restaurant has a homey and casual atmosphere, traditionally decorated and very clean. The Kare Kare Oxtail was filling and had a rich peanut flavor, while the adobo was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The pancit was a symphony of textures and tastes. Guests have noted that the food is delicious and authentic, and there are also Korean options and great pastas available. The real highlight is the owner's warm hospitality, as she genuinely cares about her guests. Overall, Global Cuisine is a great spot for a taste of homegrown Filipino cuisine and a welcoming dining experience, sure to leave visitors eager to return.”
