“When we left the NYC metro area for Northeast Ohio, we initially settled in the Boardman area. One of my sons was a freshman at Youngstown State. We visited from Long Island for Freshman Student Orientation Day. After getting Connor settled in his dorm room, we were famished. We asked his residence advisor when we could get some good, filling food. We do not eat fast food. He thought for a second and said, "Do you like Italian food?" Of course, we replied. "We are from the NYC area. We are used to good Italian food! Nothing fancy but delicious and authentic. Maybe a place that makes good sandwiches. The Resident Advisor said, "Then you are gonna love Jimmy's." This kid was right. I can't remember what I ordered, but it was some Brick. They are called something else in NYC, but this was delicious. My daughter, my husband, my brother, and my son- we were all really impressed with Jimmy's. Over the years, we have ordered your lasagna for holidays and special events. And we have always enjoyed it. I have purchased your frozen scallops, frozen broccoli rabe, escarole, and a plethora of delicious cheeses and pastries for holidays for several years. We moved to a suburb of Cleveland. Unfortunately, we do not get into the Y'town area that often. When we do, we visit you. Now I am facing a tragic event- the loss of my husband of 18 years. He had a cough and other symptoms that, as a retired nurse, disturbed me. I convinced him to visit the ER at University Hospital. He was given an MRO and transferred to Seidman Cancer Center. It was discovered that he had a particularly aggressive form of Non-Hodgekin's Lymphoma. I have been told that. He already had stage IV Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He lasted only 4 weeks. I am distraught. He had just turned 70. We wanted to travel and enjoy getting old together. I came to your website because I realize that I am not emotional enough to cook. I am too sad and too stressed. Instead, I will once again rely on Jimmy's to make Lasagna, and provide me with a cookie tray. I am sure that when I am there, I will add to my list. We will serve this at church to those who attend.”
“I've eaten there several times and the food has always been good and the service, commendable. On my last visit I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and wasn't expecting all that much, but it was fantastic! I'm going to order it again the next time I go there. Prices are fair and even though this is not high cuisine, it's still very good food.”
“I get take out here about once a week. Food is outstanding, portions are more-than-ample, service is very quick...I live 5 minutes away and order is always ready when I get there. Lacking in atmosphere, but you can't eat atmosphere! Best value in town!”

“Third visit!! Plain vanilla shake this time. Excellent! They use a blend of whole milk and ice cream base that looks like farm fresh milk with the cream on the surface. I watched her mix it gingerly adding a bit more at a time until it was just perfect. It was sure busy today she was a great multitasker. I saw a guy after me leaving a good tip in the jar. Great community. Missed her name but thanks Dad’s crew!! Could use some optimistic happy music to groove but I had Meghan Trainor playing in my head “Good to be alive”.”

“Was in the area for work and decided to stop in for lunch. I’m not much of a bbq guy, but was in the mood for something different today. I was greeted by a pleasant young lady, I believe her name was Bella. After explaining that I’m not a huge bbq fan, she recommended I try the pulled pork w Mac cheese, saying it has a lot of flavor but too much smoke. She was 100% correct and I enjoyed every bite. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area, and will look forward to other suggestions from her or your staff. Great experience.”
“We absolutely love the up and down, never disappointed with the good food. It’s our go to place when we are in Hillsville.”

KFC will open a restaurant in Texas this summer that its U.S. president describes as the chain ten years from now. The prototype, called Open House, lands in McKinney, a Dallas suburb near parent company Yum Brands' Plano headquarters. Guests can order at a table, in the drive-thru or for takeout. The menu pairs new items with signature ones "packaged in a new way."
It seems that now QSR chains have to plan around two calendars. One belongs to holidays, with brands like Krispy Kreme and Del Taco preparing red-white-and-blue launches for America's 250th birthday. The other follows the algorithm, which publishes no schedule.
Feeding a crowd is one job most people would happily hand off, and Church's Texas Chicken wants to take it. The fried chicken chain just launched Church's Catering, a program that delivers its menu in group-friendly formats for everything from office lunches to family reunions.
Einstein Bros. Bagels wants a lot more storefronts. The nation's largest bagel chain plans to open more than 300 new bakeries across the U.S. by 2030, a move that would push the Denver-based company past the 1,000-store mark. Behind the growth sits a new store format called "Elevate the Morning," built for speed, freshness and a warm feel. The design puts the fresh-baked bagel case front and center and splits in-store ordering from digital pickup, a layout that echoes recent moves by Starbucks.

The city’s biggest food festival is back. For its 46th season, Taste of Chicago returns to Grant Park. “Global Cuisine by Blesame Int'l Catering is a welcoming restaurant serving authentic Filipino cuisine. The owner, Chef Kris, is kind and accommodating, making guests feel right at home. The menu offers a range of classic Filipino dishes, including Pork Adobo Ribs, Pancit with Pork, and Halo-Halo dessert. The bento box special, featuring chicken or pork adobo with steamed rice, spring roll, pancit, and dessert, is a popular choice. The locally-owned restaurant has a homey and casual atmosphere, traditionally decorated and very clean. The Kare Kare Oxtail was filling and had a rich peanut flavor, while the adobo was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The pancit was a symphony of textures and tastes. Guests have noted that the food is delicious and authentic, and there are also Korean options and great pastas available. The real highlight is the owner's warm hospitality, as she genuinely cares about her guests. Overall, Global Cuisine is a great spot for a taste of homegrown Filipino cuisine and a welcoming dining experience, sure to leave visitors eager to return.”
