“We go regularly to Cross Roads, the food is always very good, but yesterday was disappointed ordered a Swiss Mushroom burger, which was a frozen patty at 13.99 with fries. I was hoping for a real nice juicy burger”
“The BEST Egg Rolls that I've ever eaten! The homemade Crab Rangoon, the Beef Fried Rice and the Sweet and Sour Sauce were really good too, but those Egg Rolls were the best! Called in the order and picked it up to go. Very polite on the phone. Tiny little out of the way place, my husband thought he was lost. But the food was ready when they said it would be.”
“The Beacon is struggling to maintain adequate staffing but that has only impacted slightly the time from order to service. Our experience has always been excellent Diner selections with friendly, competent service. It is never microwaved frozen goods from US Foods or Sisco. Much of the menu is homemade comfort food like pork with sauerkraut and mashed potatoes/ gravy. All of the items are better than competitively priced. I used to be a chef and though 71 years old, I wish I could help when I see their 'Cook Wanted' sign but I live 15 miles away and can only help by dining there a couple times per week. Best of luck to these dear people.”
“I've been going to Ixtapa for years! The food is really delicious, and every server has been exciptionally nice, and very accomidating....Until today. Andreis, either hates his job, or just older women. My two older grandkids were with me, when Andreis was SO RUDE to me and even threatened me. My grandkids and I were shocked. Long story, but that made me not want to go back again. I've never complained about any restaurant before, or worker, but this was over the top and shocking. Oh, he knows how to fake it, being nice and funny, but how he treated me today was absolutely not OK. I have a pic of a review from another person complaining about him, if You'd like to see that too...so it's not just me.”
“A consistent favorite. The pork chop is excellent, as is the shepherd's pie and burgers. My favorite drink besides Guinness is "The Sprig", Tio's, lemon juice and simple syrup infused with rosemary. The service is outstanding and you must try the Cheesecake.”

“Global Cuisine by Blesame Int'l Catering is a welcoming restaurant serving authentic Filipino cuisine. The owner, Chef Kris, is kind and accommodating, making guests feel right at home. The menu offers a range of classic Filipino dishes, including Pork Adobo Ribs, Pancit with Pork, and Halo-Halo dessert. The bento box special, featuring chicken or pork adobo with steamed rice, spring roll, pancit, and dessert, is a popular choice. The locally-owned restaurant has a homey and casual atmosphere, traditionally decorated and very clean. The Kare Kare Oxtail was filling and had a rich peanut flavor, while the adobo was tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The pancit was a symphony of textures and tastes. Guests have noted that the food is delicious and authentic, and there are also Korean options and great pastas available. The real highlight is the owner's warm hospitality, as she genuinely cares about her guests. Overall, Global Cuisine is a great spot for a taste of homegrown Filipino cuisine and a welcoming dining experience, sure to leave visitors eager to return.”
