COWS is a top favourite ice cream spot for me Canada-wide. So happy they had 3 of the original PEI flavours (apple pie being the best!). Service was quick despite going at a busy time.

This ice cream shop came to me as a recommendation from my tour guide. After taking in the sites, I stopped in with my 2 sisters, and we each enjoyed a cone of ice cream as we walked back to our tour bus. Very delicious.

This is a must stop when you go to Banff. Great ice cream and love their merchandise. We went in the end of June and the lineup was way out the door. When you finally get in the shop and up to the ice cream you feel so pressured to pick your ice cream and don't get a chance to really figure out what you want. They have so many flavors and they are named strangely so it's not like cookies and cream or chocolate mint. It confuses you and you have no time to read the names to see what is in them and to make a choice of what you really want your $10 cone to be because you have 50 people waiting behind you. Good ice cream but really bad set up. Then when you visit the other half of their store which is set up with clothes and other merchandise to buy and you have what you want to purchase there is no one to ring you in. We went here 3 times and both ti.es it was the same. They are definitely making a ton of money and can hire someone to watch the merchandise side of things. You will love the ice cream but look up their flavors online first and know what you want and be prepared to wait.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely not for handicapped people.

As far as hot chocolate goes, this was great. Not the best but for the price, quantity, and just the convenience it's good enough. Great to have a cup of hot chocolate while it's cold out at Banff lol. Service was good. Ambiance was meh. Nothing great but it's not like you're meant to stay/dine in. They could've made an effort tho or tidied up a bit. Giving this a 4/5 because it could be better. Thats all.

Ice cream lover(me?)recommended! Crispy cone and strawberry ice cream, not too sweet but with nice smell of strawberry. I believe it was made of real strawberry!!! Good to have it if visit Banff. Get one scoop of ice cream in one of the most beautiful mountains!

Great ice cream in the heart of Banff, lots of flavours to choose from. Line-ups in the summertime and evening can get very busy, but it generally moves quickly. They also have a store for Cows merch (t-shirts, pants, bears, caps).

A must stop for tourists!! Fun ice cream flavors, hilarious souvenirs, and all the puns and cow themed apparel you can ask for.There are no samples at this ice cream shop however. I also asked for a kids scoop because I didn't want that much ice cream. It seemed priced the same as a single scoop?? So idk that was weirdSome of the prices of the merch can get expensive so if you can somehow fit a kids size, they're A LOT cheaper.
