Gave 2 of 4 kids their food and didn’t bring the others 10 until min later. Didn’t get my brother’s food and after 20 min, he told them they can keep it.My wife asked for medium for her meat, because she’s pregnant. It was so raw it was almost still alive.Staff was nice but you can’t charge such prices when you’re making so many mistakes.

8pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was empty; asked at the bar next to it if it was open and serving and just given a blunt "yes". Found someone in the restaurant and asked if they were serving, initially said yes, then said would need to check as they were "only front desk staff". Several minutes later we gave it up as a lost cause, clearly terrible service and weren't going to risk their food.

Last minute choice for dinner as we arrived late, place was a bit quiet but the server was lovely and food was good. I had the double Pattie burger which was tasty and great portions, we also had the steak sandwich, which was also nice.

Our food was really good, and so was our service. Our server was really nice and the bartender fixed a special mocktail for us. But we were the only people in the restaurant. 2 people were in the bar when we were seated, and 2 others arrived in the bar while we were eating. But that was it. Even the person at the front desk seemed surprised that we were there for dinner. Felt a little weird. Not sure why though since the food was really good!

Food was excellent and for the first time had Elke which was delicious. Service was also spot on from a young Ukrainian server. He told us that the restaurant has a new chef who is really good and he was right. The sad thing is that the restaurant was empty apart from us and another couple. This is a real gem that needs to improve its marketing and presence.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Evergreen restaurant, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cuisine surpassed our expectations with its delicious flavors, and the service was good.Parking: undeground parking

Had to give it one star to write this review. They don’t even deserve that. First of all the STAFF was rude as hell. She was so judgy when we asked for milk with out coffee. From making faces to snarky comments. To be noted there was like one other couple in this restaurant. We ordered food at 10:00 am. Ordered a bread toast, kids pancake and two avocado toast. we were getting late so we asked her to pack up the food as she did and the food came around 10:25-10:30. Since we had a kid with us we wanted to feed him the pancake so we opened one box to feed it to him. Also it was a stack of boxes so we were trying to put stuff into the same box to save space and the waitress come and asks as to Leave. She literally said - “you choose to take it out so you have to get out” it was so rude and humiliating. And the worst part is- costed us like 65$. The bread wasn’t even toasted and the avocado toast was a slice of avocado. Literally horrible service and food. Do not go there. Chilis next door is way better. Nicer staff and better food!!

The food here at the Royal Canadian lodge is mediocre, and the chicken tended to be dried out. The desserts were minimal and not very appealing. Service was excellent.

Was going back to the GTA so decided not to go out for breakfast anymore (was staying at the Royal Canadian Lodge). I was offered the $25 buffer breakfast, but I opted for ala carte instead. I order the Classic (2 eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast).I ordered the eggs over easy but got them well done/partly well done. I told the server and she did offer to change them, but I didn't want to waste food so I just stuck with them. The sausages were unusually hard and rubbery, like they either cooked them from frozen or they were just really old.I don't know how good (or bad) their other offerings are, but I'd say avoid the Classic breakfast. All in all this was a disappointing last meal in Banff.

Great place for dinner, we had an exquisite service from chef Ruslan and Anton, our server. We stayed here in Banff for a week, and had several dinners during the week at this restaurant. Perfect.

Sat down for breakfast and was greeted with a smile. My coffee cup was filled immediately and my order was taken at that time. Calla was my waitress and was attentive the entire experience. I presented the royal canadian breakfast. It came with enough food to fill even the heartiest of appetites. My coffee cup was always full and everyone had a smile that worked there. I enjoyed my stay.

Food doesn’t taste good. I had to return the soup because it didn’t have any flavour. Giving 2 stars because of the nice staff who replaced my meal. We ordered 3 different dishes but all were not impressive compared to the price.

On a Friday night (8/12/22), I called and asked how long their wait was. Was told it was about 45 minutes. Was put on a wait list. When we got there, I checked in with the hostess to let her know we were there and she said probably another 30 minute wait, so we went to sit at the bar. After we had our name on the list for about 45 minutes, another couple came in and right next to me the owner asked them if they had called in or made reservations and she said they had not. The owner asked the hostess who was all waiting and she pointed out another couple as first and then us, and then the couple that just came in. He pulled her aside and said something I could not hear, which I know now was to bump the 3rd couple in front of us and they had just come in. Sure enough, the hostess sat the couple in first and then the couple that had just come in when we had been on the wait list for almost an hour. I told the hostess she had made a mistake and she said that the couple that just came in had called in earlier and talked to the owner about getting in. I told her that was a lie for I was right by them when the owner had talked to them and he asked them if they had called and they said no. Told her I didn't appreciate the lies and if that is the kind of way they treat customers, then not sure if I need to come back here again. I am soooooo disappointed in this treatment for we had just started coming here about 2 months ago and really had thought we had found a new favorite place to come and had come there probably 6 times in the past 2 months. Now, not sure we will come back if that is the ethics of the owner to bump people that just came in ahead of those that had been waiting almost an hour. Inexcusable.
