Finally tried the bar in the morning that we checked out the hotel. The food is pretty good and service is top-notch. The window view is just amazing.

This is always one of our stops when we do a mountain getaway. Service is 5 star and food and drinks are high end. We always bring friends whether for a hot drink or after appys. This is our go to for a relaxing afternoon with beautiful views all year round.

The atmosphere is fantastic and so is the live music. I ordered the cubano, and it was dry, hard to bite into. Reallt regret trying something new for that much to be disappointed. My jaw hurts just from thinking about it. ?

A phenomenal lounge with class with an amazing cozy, fireplace atmosphere overlooking the mountains. Great selection of drinks with friendly staff made this place a great aprés ski lounge!

Good food, cocktails, and mountain views. Service on the other hand was not so good. The waitress that was helping us out I cannot complain, she was great. The host or manager on the other hand wearing a green.jacket was very unprofessional. When your job is the service industry, how you treat you customers is very important.My issue was very easy to resolve, we asked for salt and pepper for the soup which was already on the cold side, this fella never came back. The soup kept on getting colder, when I saw my waitress for salt and pepper it took her 30sec to get it. The original fella that I asked for the salt and pepper never came back, when I saw him after, he literally said that he was very busy and walked away, he also said that he made sure that our waitress got us what we wanted, which I doubt since I had to ask her for the salt and pepper.I understand being understaffed can be a problem, but do not walk away while talking and at least apologize.Parking: Free valet parking was made available, this was a nice surprise.

Delicious food and cocktails. Service on the other hand was not so good. We had several different waiters, people being seated after us served first, food brought to us with no cutlery or plates, another 10 minutes to receive that.I understand being understaffed can be a problem, but no apologies for anything. Paid and left a 20% tip and they didn’t even thank us for coming.

Food is good but you might slip into a coma waiting for it or waiting for your drink. Modifications to orders are frequently forgotten. You are trapped up on a hill above Banff so prices come at a premium. Only other choice is to make trek to town and brave the hordes.
Great views, excellent food. We’ve never been treated as well for allergies as we have by the team here. Took fantastic care of our little man and made sure he had a wonderful lunch, along with the top notch lunches for the rest of the table.

Top notch service- some of the most personable people and conversation starting employees I've ever met anywhere in the world. Not just one, but every single one. Seriously, whoever trained the employees in being personable needs a friggin Michelin Star just for service training!That being said... the food was also excellent. I hate ordering a chicken sandwich for dinner, especially a $29 chicken sandwich, but damn did it taste worth every bit of that Canadian tourist location exchange rate with the seasonings and preparation. The everything focaccia bun? Perfection- and raise it with being buttered and toasted on the grill, not just tossed on cold. I'm sure they had to fly that avocado in from Mexico too because it was pretty fresh- unfortunately the iceberg lettuce didn't make the trip as easily, but it still had crunch.We would have loved a seat in the lounge, but alas the table to low seat ratio felt a bit challenging for having a true elbows on the table kind of sandwich meal, so we opted for bar table seating instead. It was a bit awkward to have bar music playing while the live musician was also playing in the lounge- which would be the biggest atmosphere change I'd make to elevate the experience- otherwise the atmosphere provides a nice variety of options no matter what you like.What really made me love this was that I drove here and needed to park in the garage; and parking was validated by the restaurant before leaving. Unfortunately the parking lot ticket reader had problems accepting the validated parking ticket- but the call button led to the switchboard and solved the problem. Service was on top of it, even when machines failed.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at the Rimrock. We visited the Larkspur for dinner once and late night drinks two other times. Each time, Jerome was our waiter. He created a personalized and welcoming atmosphere. He remembered our names and favorite beverages. The views are beautiful, food delicious and wine list expansive. I strongly suggest a visit to the Rimrock and the Larkspur. Be sure to ask to sit in Jerome’s section!
