Definitely better than the Keg. I had a party of 2 and they sat us in the bar area. The waiter was also the bartender and he was extremely busy and was trying to manage 5 tables at once plus the bar. Service was slow but could be due to short staff. Food was good.

The bartender and staff were amazing. I believe our bartender’s name was Hamish, and he was so attentive and kind, I’d have thought I was in a five-star restaurant. His advice about the area, his perfectly poured beer, and his very friendly attitude literally made our night. Definitely a place to visit every time we’re in Banff.

Service was good but the food was not anything special. Definitely on the low end of quality.

My husband and I made a reservation here (with our three-year-old) last night . When we arrived, we were told there was no tables available at the restaurant so we sat ourselves at the bar area even though we had a toddler with us. No one acknowledged us or came up to us for about half an hour, so we got up and left …. Overall a really Poor experience . And we are guests at the hotel too !

My family, three adults, and a toddler ate here Saturday night. We had the Caesar Salad, a halved romaine lettuce with delicious dressing and lots of ham and croutons! Spaghetti and meatballs, gluten free penne with wild boar and elk meatballs, and meatball Mac and Cheese. The toddler has the kids Mac and Cheese and mango ice cream for dessert. All the food came out quickly, the pasta was cooked to our taste, the sauces were delicious, the meatballs were tasty and tender. The food was hot and nicely presented. The toddler’s food was generous. Our server Lauren was helpful, attentive to the toddler, and friendly. We’ll return!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Really needs more staff. The poor bartender was on her own each night we dined here. She was lovely to talk to and remained very calm when we had the chance. She was smiling the entire time even though it was clear she was overworked. We had called and spoke to her early in the evening on our first night due to allergies my son has and the following two nights she remembered the allergies without needing to remind her.Dietary restrictions: Dairy and Nut Allergy

We just checked in 15 minutes ago, seen there was a restaurant. We stood at the "wait to be seated" sign for around 10-15 minutes. This was at the upper bar part. There was about 3 tables open. Plus the he restaurant has tons of seating. Since the bartender there hasn't said a word to us, we figured seating ours lives wouldn't be an issue. Finally we sit down and see a woman who is more dressed up, she much have finally decided to show up to that area. Keep in mind, no one was behind us at all. Basically now we are being ignored by staff. We see the other tables get filled up and they get helped. We told the lady we had not been helped (She was the manager) She says "that's because you didn't wait to be seated. We had someone waiting behind you. (This is a straight up lie). This was the most immature thing I've ever seen happen. This woman clearly has a power trip going on. They refused to serve us. What a way to treat a hotel guest. We tried to tell the front desk person, he did not care. With in 20 minutes we decided that this will be the last time we ever book at this hotel. Now we not only feel uncomfortable but now cannot dine at the hotels own restaurant. The most unprofessional thing Ive ever seen. They weren't even close to full. You think they wouldn't want to drive away customer. Will not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We walked to the hotel next to us and went to the "farm and fire". It was much busier but they seated us immediately. Staff extremely respectful. That manager at the meatball needs to lose her ego and put the businesses best interests first.

Not really worth it. We ordered the meatball sampler, portions were very small however the meatballs were very good. We ordered the bread which was alright. Not really worth the cost and the balsamic was disgusting, had a spoiled tasted. We order two pizzas. La Vita and Baby Face Fungi while on sale, honestly just tasted like a frozen pizza. Overall was very disappointed and just wasn’t worth it.

I’d give it 0 if I could. Just awful. Server was TERRIBLE AND RUDE. I never say anything about service but I had to. We asked if it was ok to use donair sauce we brought from home and she was like absolutely not. We are from east coast and garlic fingers need donair sauce. Our anniversary was today too and no comment made. We left after we ordered pop because we didn’t even want to risk it. Outdated and TERRIBLE.. TERRIBLE AWFUL SERVICE

Dated restaurant (feels like nobody touched its decor from the 80s, chafed, cracked paint, dirty carpet), dirty (months old dust on the shelves and counters), bad staff (ordered a Pepsi for my kid and got a completely flat glass of brown liquid, asked to replace it with chocolate milk and got a glass covered with sticky chocolate syrup on the outside, they are just bad at what they do). Overpriced breakfast (diner-level food for $16 a plate). Do not recommend this place to anyone.

We heard good things, but we found the service was very slow, chicken tenders are not real meat, and the gluten free pizza tastes like cardboard. Tried to express our concerns to management, but they did not care. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Nice menu options, food was excellent (recommend the pulled pork dinner), servers were friendly, food service was a tad slow for it being well under capacity but the quality more than made it up.
