We have come to the restaurant for years and we must say we were not happy at all today. My wife ordered a steak sandwich and half of the steak (YES HALF) was grizzle and fat.She ordered a Caesar Salad that came with tomatoes, cucumber, and cabbage(hmm that's interesting) as to me that is a garden salad. The dressing they put on the side was warm, runny, and did not even come close to tasting like a Caesar salad dressing. The waitress seemed disinterested in checking on our meal. The drink she ordered (Long Island iced tea) was put in a beer glass and the glass was cracked and chipped. Last time we will be in this establishment. VERY DISSAPOINTED!!

When we tried to put in our order tonight (table of 5) for food the waitress took down one couples order then physically tried to take the menu from my hands along with the 2 other people. I was confused and said we still needed to order. She then made a comment about how she thought all that food was for everyone as they ordered a lot of food and that we were greedy. (They only got nachos and a platter) when my friend asked if they had any olives or celery when she got her ceaser (only had a lime) was told if they had it it would probably be in the drink already.I got the steak sandwich with a ceaser salad and the salad looked good but when I tried to eat it my mouth started to burn due to the amount of garlic that was in it. I personally love garlic but it tasted like I was eatting a whole uncooked clove. They did offer to exchange the side but I declined as the sides my friends had didn't taste great either and didn't want to waste food I wouldn't eat anyways.The rest of the food that came out was really disappointing especially the grey gravey that stayed in its bowl like a dq blizzard when you flipped it.I always tip especially if the service and food isn't always good because people do have off days but I've never been treated like that anywhere I've eaten before and it was really disrespectful.I will not eat or even drink here again. I don't recommend anyone trying this place out either.

We have only the best memories from Tommy's. Fun place, fun people, wonderful food and drinks.Tommy is a legend. I would have never thought that we would be having ouzo shots in Alberta, Canada, but that's the beauty of the unexpected.

Have to ask for a waitress to order another beer.Finish up, have to go ask for my bill.I'm sitting at the front!!!In front of the window!!!What are you missing??Today, place almost empty and the waitress having a nice chat....ignoring me.I've just ordered at the Elk across the street.Great prices, better food.......so long Tommy!!

Tommy's steak sandwich is 2nd to none in Banff. Amazing atmosphere & vibe, from popular daytime locals gathering spot, to evening party venue. Tommy himself is a legend. Love this place.

Stopped in for one of their tasty burgers and had the roast beef poutine that was the special. Delicious! Best poutine ever! Staff is always friendly and helpful and the food is exceptionally well prepared for great prices. When you are.i. Banff you have to visit Tommy's at least
