Tried this place on a recommendation, we walked in and the owner (older gentlemen) I presume just stared at us. I pointed to a table and nothing, said for 2 please and he said pick wherever. This place is dark inside and the booths are old and duct-taped together. He came by, dropped off menus and walked away. Maybe it is just him, but zero friendliness or customer service. He came, took our order (was very rushed) food came, it was fine, sauce is in little packets and limited to 2 of each. Simple pho and satay and the price was okay. We sat for a while waiting for him to come over, but he was sitting on his phone behind the desk. We went up to pay and ask for take out containers for our left overs and he was visibly annoyed that we even asked. He charged us for the containers and just stared at us again. We promptly cleaned up and left. We will not be back. We were hoping since this was close it would work for a great option as we love veitnamese food, but we will continue to go to the various edmonton restaurants with better customer service, atmosphere and food.We weren't looking for a smiling, bubbly host, but at least someone who didn't feel annoyed they had to work and get off their phone.Much better places out there!

This is a great authentic Vietnamese Restaurant! We regularly order their takeout, and the food is consistently amazing. The staff is great and they are super quick with the orders for pickup. Beaumont is very fortunate to have this quality restaurant.

This is my first time at this location , very small tight place .Wanted to do a takeout order ,I asked if he can do a certain soup but just give me all beef ball instead he said he couldn’t do that .Then I asked if he had 4 color on rice but began to laugh and say you’re looking at the vermicelli bowls , and I said yeah but just change the noodles to rice he said “ we can’t do that we make food only for white people liking not Vietnamese people liking “ meaning he doesn’t make authentic Vietnamese food making no sense as I just asked to change the noodles to rice and the soup I just ask for all beef balls .Very odd Vietnamese place I been to many and this is the worst .I just left and didn’t order anything and just got edo next door .
