I am from Vancouver Island, visited Anejo's with a friend last summer and absolutely had to share the fantastic food with friends and family on a return trip. Highly recommended, great cocktails, guacamole and food overall?. Thank you, Anejo's!
Our Experience at Añejo once again was Absolutely Amazing! The food starting with the table side fresh made Guacamole and our mains were to Die for! The Ambiance and the service is Absolutely Incredible! Thank you Anejo!! Cam & Mandy. ?

Wasn't particularly impressed they offered zero taco Tuesday specials but when I questioned if they did I was told their sister establishment Blanco did... so why don't you?!?! Food was also way too spicy and dry

Great date night last night at Anejo! Our server was very friendly and helpful...and the tacos - phenomenal! Both our appetisers (table-made guacamole and coconut shrimp) were also very good.

The service was good, our server was able to recommend dishes on the menu and was attentive during our visit. The food arrived hot and in a timely manner which was impressive as the restaurant was very busy. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we will definitely be back!

Pretty good. Sat near the window so it was freezing. Waitress forgot and mis-entered many things. She also did not come back to check how things were. Food was good and drinks were nice.
We had an excellent evening at Añejo. We were seated promptly at a nice table upstairs and the service was attentive without being overbearing. I appreciated seeing some imaginative mocktails on the menu! From the table side guacamole to start, piping hot delicious tacos as a main (the quesabirria was divine) and complimentary churros for the birthday celebration, we had a great night out and will be back soon!

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food and service are always great. It's loud but that's part of the experience. Tacos, guac and coconut shrimp with a few tasty margaritas- perfection!

ive been here mutliple times but the ambience was so loud with another crowd across the table where they had 8 or 9 guest. my 7 yr old child and i were the ones who made it for dinner and honestly the noise level was high i couldnt have a peacufl chat with her. vey bad exeprince in terms of noise levels. the other guest had zero awareness that they were sharing space with other patrons . such a big let down.
Our server was so rude, consumed by a negative attitude and even altered our food servings. I have no idea if I said something to throw him off but he was absolutely horrible. If I come back and he was my server I would ask for a different table. I wish I remembered the name of the server.. but awful!
We had high expectations for Anejo but went there last night and was very disappointed. We had someone in a wheelchair with us and this place is NOT accessible- not even to get into the restaurant. Once we carried her and the wheelchair in, the hostess wanted to take us down more steps into narrow space between tables. It was clear she had no idea how to deal with people with disabilities. Thankfully, the manager or a more senior person came and gave us a table by the door (she was great). Beyond that, the food was mediocre. Everything was just too salty. We got the guacamole and the queso fondido. Guacamole was good, but the queso was way too salty and u couldn't taste any chorizo. We also had tortilla soup, tacos, and chile relleno and everything fell flat. Maybe they had an off night but would not recommend.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, the background music made my friends and I want to dance, staff were nice. Food was really delicious. Would recommend to try the tacos and roasted sirloin. We celebrated my friends bday here, and our server was great, he brought out the cake I requested for my friend, there was candle for her to blow and he sang happy birthday with us.

New Year's Eve early dinner at Añejo was disappointing. We had table guacamole, tacos and monthly special margaritas. The margarita was very watery. Fish was cold in fish taco, veggie taco was mushy with little flavour. Pork Carnitas taco was very dry. This is not our usual experience at Anejo. The food is usually very good. This particular evening things seemed to fall apart in the kitchen.

We were somehow disappointed with the drinks and the food. We have been to Añejo several times, but it is not the same anymore, the margaritas clearly were watered down and the “flavour” was nowhere near what it used to be.. Chilicoconut and cucumber cilantro tasted like a regular Margarita... The food was also a big disappointment, we ordered quesabirria and there was practically no cheese on it... not the same experience anymore.. So sad..

We usually love coming here and the food and drinks have always been good. This experience wasn't like the usual. The food was just ok. The margaritas tasted watered down. The restaurant was not busy but it took forever for our order to be taken. Thank goodness I had ordered drinks and an guac while waiting for my friend to join me. Everyone was friendly but for and almost empty restaurant it definitely felt like we were an afterthought.
