I have been ordering all my cakes from Amandine for years now, Black Forest is my favorite and they knock it out of the park everytime. Only complaint I have is they are quite far from where I live but is always worth the drive.

We stopped in today for a treat…I asked if the bread was fresh, and was told yes. Looking in the case, the cream puffs and eclairs were really small and appeared to have been there for awhile. Bought a couple of cookies and what was labeled as a butter tart. So, opened the bread at dinner- it was probably fresh on Monday…the cookie was so-so and the butter tart, not a butter tart but a solid, caramel thing, indescribable as anything resembling a butter tart. It used to be an amazing place but actually doesn’t smell like anything, weird for a bakery that actually proclaims fresh items? Hmmm… won’t be back.

Dried out, overly sweet, and not as ordered. Can you tell by the picture, this cake is a major disappointment?After a few bites of this birthday cake, we threw it in the compost and immediately went to a different bakery for cake.

My recent experience at Amandine Bakery left much to be desired. Despite my anticipation for their renowned pastries, I was sorely disappointed by the lack of understanding and flexibility exhibited by their staff.Upon arrival, I encountered unexpected traffic delays, which caused me to arrive just five minutes past their closing time. Despite my earnest apologies and explanation, the staff adamantly refused to serve me, insisting that they were closed for the day.This rigid adherence to their closing time without any consideration for the circumstances reflects poorly on their customer service standards. It's disheartening to see a business prioritize strict policies over accommodating their patrons, especially when faced with unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion.As a result of this experience, I left feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. While I understand the importance of adhering to operating hours, a bit of flexibility and empathy could have salvaged the situation and left a more positive impression. Unfortunately, Amandine Bakery's unwillingness to accommodate a minor delay has significantly tarnished my perception of their establishment. I am giving 1 star but they deserve 0 stars, I cant do 0 stars, I even told her that we are on the way, Stupid Bs
Cakes are really good. But staff is very very rude.Vegetarian options: They offer vegan as well. Their vegan fruit cake is must try.Dietary restrictions: Offer gluten free, dairy free as well
