So happy to discover this gem of a place minutes from home. I came in feeling under the weather, looking for some soup, and was blown away by the delicious chicken noodle soup, beef and veggie soup and breakfast sandwich (the Kelly?). The thick maple bacon, pillowy soft pretzel bun and oozy egg was just *chefs kiss* perfection.While he couldn't promise a calorie/guilt free experience, the owner who helped me was more than gracious in topping up my soup, accommodating my requests (this is the type of food and service you would tip 25% for), and confirming everything was made fresh, in house.I can't wait to try all the other sandwiches and look forward to making this a regular lunch spot for me and my family.

Kiosk style sandwich restaurant. The sandwiches we have tried are all excellent - freshly made, interesting flavours. Certainly choose ahead and if possible order ahead as it takes a while for the food to appear - even allowing for fact that everything is freshly made. That is why 3 stars - staff are cheerful and friendly. No atmosphere to speak of but not needed in this kind of place.Busy at lunchtime and into early afternoon. Recommended.
I love the Greek Twist, so fresh and salty in the best way! I typically take it out, so I do not have much to say about the atmosphere. However, the food is great!

My hubs ordered via delivery app. I wanted to make sure to pop over and give a 5 star review. Eggs were cooked perfectly on the breakfast sandwich, still warm and delicious! Greek sandwich was unreal!! Buns are great, everything was Fantastic! (And that's delivered, can't wait to come in!!!!)
Always delish and the owner and workers are so nice! My go to is a demi steak frite. With a chocolate raspberry shake. They have super good soups and desserts too!

This place is fantastic! I love that everything is fresh and homemade, from the sauces to the bread. It's the perfect place to get a simple ham and cheese all the way up to a steak frites. They even have a mayo menu and that's now my standard expectation from every sandwich shop (yes, I prepare to be let down). Please support this amazing little local business.

I don't live in Calgary but I dream about Around the Bend. I so look forward to my visits so I can get a Northern Twist! All the sandwiches I have gotten from here are amazing but the northern is just something extra special. The potato crisps are also amazing! It takes a while but it is worth the wait!

Lot's of choices for sandwiches. California turkey pretzel was good. Would have preferred the spinach fresh for the premium price, however, was overall good experience. Washroom had open roof concept that amplified the kitchen conversation which was a little strange, but it was clean. Staff was very nice and friendly.
