One of the best croissants I’ve had for sure. Sad I couldn’t get a coffee because none of them come iced…

Astonishingly good and creative pastries and coffees. Atmosphere is delightfully European. Not cheap but prices are reasonable when considering the exceptional quality.

As their website states, "The shortest way to Paris" is indeed true at this Patisserie. I went to this place few times and tried three different croissants, most of their displayed pastries including Eclair, Opera cake, Paris-Brest Pistache, Religieuse Caramel and every single visit was quite good. Their croissants are the best in entire Calgary, crunch on the outside, soft inside with layers and you can visually see those layers when you break that croissant. Their pastries have the right amount of sweetness, very light, airy and sponge like consistency every time I tried.Never had any bad customer service experience either so far.I wish they also made cakes to purchase and that would be a complete French trip to this Patisserie.

Was there for the hot chocolate competition. Possibly the best hot chocolate I've ever had. Will update at a later date but my guess is that everything is amazing.

Amazing cappuccino and London fog. Beautiful desserts all served with a smile and friendly knowledgeable staff.
I would NOT recommend this place unless you wanted to be treated like a piece of garbage. The short, arrogant, French guy with redish hair behind the counter should be fired as i have never been treated as poorly as this guy treated my guest and I. I won't be back. I'm mad at myself for not calling this Clown out while I was there!

We wanted to visited Black Sheep to try their yychotchocolatefest! It is a tiny shop. It was extremely busy when we visited and there were only two staff. That seemed short sighted on a busy holiday Monday. We ordered our hot chocolates and a few croissants! They were delicious. But it did take a while to get our beverages. They had to make them twice. The staff were friendly. But they seemed too busy to really assist customers and interact well!! We would try it again on a quieter day! Thanks for the yummy drinks.
“Les Chocolat chaud” was a disastrous disappointment. A year ago used to be a proper French drinking chocolate, thick, velvety, smooth, decadent! And yes it took time to make it as not to burn the ganache. Fast forward to today. I asked for chocolate chaud, and I was surprised it took no time to be served. However, it was the consistency of chocolate milk store bought. How disappointing. The server kept saying is the same chocolate with ganache, but it is obviously not the same and I have not seen this server in the store a year ago. So, NOT THE SAME! Instead of arguing with the customer who has been coming to this place for years now, just offer a refund and stop arguing.
I visited with my 7 year old daughter. It was our first visit and it took some time to order. I apologized to the gentleman who joined the line behind us, and even the other customers appear to be as kind as the staff! He said, Take your time, I’m in no rush. The staff were cheerful and kind. Another customer chimed in and recommended an item a young child might enjoy (which they were right - the Chausson aux pommes is a must try!). Atmosphere is chic yet comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. And will return.

The opera cake was DIVINE. The 10 layer chocolate layer cake was good but after the opera cake, it seemed just a bit too sweet. The lattes were great.
