Five Gold Stars for the Blue Star Diner. Excellent place to dine for breakfast or brunch. A classic "diner".

It's a nice chic little diner with modern touches. They have a kids menu. They have milkshakes and ADULT MILKSHAKES!I go a lot, especially on Sundays with my best friend for our traditional breakfast. I am fond of many things on the menu. The Dirty Double is an excellent double burger and one of my favorite burgers in Bridgeland. The Mac and Cheese Gratin is amazing with a crunchy breadcrumb topping. They have a basic breakfast as well as more complicated affairs.Staff are very friendly and attentive and the food does not take long to come out.I love this place and I'll keep coming back here so long as I can.

My husband wants to rate this way lower, but I thought honestly it was mediocre. The food presentation was nice, the service was on point - but the food itself lacked flavor and was underwhelming. My husband got the ‘naanwich’ and he was disappointed by the style of Nan as it was not your traditional naan - more like Safeways version. The lamb lacked flavor especially for an Indian style dish and was also a little dry. The fries: short, greasy, overcooked.I got the ‘Fried chicken dinner’ - wish I had got something else as the flavours were underwhelming, lacked soul for soul food. The corn waffle was very dry, I know it’s supposed to be similar to corn bread, but it needed some gravy or syrup.. something to bring it all together. I got a Cesar salad on the side and I did enjoy that - bacon was crispy, the dressing was really good, almost had a bit of sweetness to it and the croutons were well seasoned. All in all had high hopes and the menu sounds so amazing, but just wasn’t well executed.

Got seated by the window which was so lovely. Didn’t have to wait at all on a Saturday morning. Got the bacon tomato benny and it was tasty. Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, slightly crunchy outside and soft inside.

Blue Star was good overall. Nothing really outstanding but a nice place to eat. Very small but our group had reservations so had really the only large table (or multiple tables pulled together)

Went here for brunch and the food was really yummy! I enjoyed the veggie burger and portions are large. It’s a bit squishy in there because if it’s size so it made it a bit hard to converse.

Food was average but service and atmosphere is pretty good. I have a feeling we went for lunch had a burger and wrap thats why not that impressive, high chance this place serves better breakfast / brunch food.
