Excellent drinks, I've had both coffee and tea lattes from here and they are amazingly flavourful! The pastries are great but they do run low on options later in the day, so best to go during the morning. We wanted to sit in but there was not enough room for 2 more people, so we took our items home. I think the place could be spaced out more effectively as it draws in small families and single folks working on their laptops, demographics that have different spatial needs. :)

I really like the pastries here but we went for coffee and I ordered an espresso not realizing it would be a $15 espresso!!! I feel robbed, espresso is usually $3-4!! Will not be returning.

I'm from Vancouver and any time I come to Calgary this bakery is always a stop for me! I've been coming here for years and I always recommend fellow Vancouverites Butterblock! The quality and taste is always consistent, vibes are wicked ?. There's a lot of care and love from the owners who are right there with their team.I was really excited to check out their new café section and it did not disappoint. A fantastic place to either start the day or take a break from shopping for pastries lovers and coffee connoisseurs alike! My favourites include:- everything croissant- double baked almond croissant- spicy cheese knotBut those curious should find their own favourites ?

I, and a few friends tried the new cafe. I know what I like at Butterblock, and it is nice to be able to pair it with a coffee, sit and relax. However, my coffee was luke warm, not even close to being hot enough, especially for a 5$ simple black coffee. I doubt I will be back. I know I could have had another one made, but having coffee hot should be a given.

Pandan croissant changed my brain chemistry My pal and I showed up to specifically try these croissants and were told there were currently out but if we wanted to come back in 20 minutes they could bake some right then and there! When we got them they were still warm! Tremendous coolness and kindness and the staff/bakers seemed so cute and friendly!!!Thank you for the delicious treats!

So many choices and all great pastries! Your bread pudding and natas are my favorites!! The croissants were a delight, perfectly flaky and delicious. Love the people and the great atmosphere! The customer service was top-notch – friendly, attentive, and truly made me feel welcomed. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fantastic pastries and a welcoming ambiance!

On the pricey side, but definitely stands out from other regular bakeries out there. We got the half dozen box with 6 assorted pastries, plus 2 free items (the 2 free items we got were a large cookie and a brownie). With these we had a very Merry Christmas morning brunch. :)

I don’t quite understand the point or hype around “double baked” croissants, they are not very good. Not much volume, layers, flakiness, bite….. kind of just tastes like a light brioche. Not a fan
